than years past are choosing to fly. air travel is still expected to go up about one-point-six percent. triple a says they most popular destinations this year are on the west coast === ;as vegas or san fransisco to name a few. travelers using the weekend as a getaway...not necessarily visiting family. if you are one of the three million people flying this holiday weekend...arrive early. the t-s-a says they are prepared for the crowds but you'll still want to get to the airport roughly two hours -- been a number of technical glitches with airline systems over the last few months...leading to passengers stranded for days and leading to a re-booking nightmare. which is why experts suggest you get to the airport prepared. 5:44:04-:23 we were supposed to be leaving at 7 when we got here we were told it was changed to 5 pm but they went ahead and fixed and changed it to a different time so we can leave

home on hickory trail. when they arrived on-scene, they found a man and woman with gunshot wounds. the man was pronounced dead. the woman was taken to the hospital, where she later died. we do not know the relationship between the man and woman. however, police do say they're investigating this as a murder-suicide. the milwaukee county medical examiner is investigating a baby death. the 3-month old died overnight on the city's northwest side. in a tweet this morning, the m-e's office says the preliminary investigation shows it may have an autopsy is scheduled later today. although minor-- a milwaukee police squad was involved in a crash on the city's north side.. it happened about 2 this morning near 27th and fond du lac. officials aren't giving a lot of details at this point. it's unclear what caused the crash at this time. another crash-- near 76th and layton-- is under investigating. we're told one of the vehicles took off from a traffic stop in

light..hitting another car. the suspect's car then caught on fire. the driver of the car that took off...and two people in the other car were injured...but are expected to be okay. ...two shootings overnight in milwaukee. we're told one of those took place last night about 8-45 near 76th and thurston. police say a man was shot while driving -- and suffered a serious injury. he was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive. officials sayh been the intended target -- and that the shots were fired during a dispute. the other shooting took place about 7- 50 last night near center and pierce. a 36-year-old man was shot while walking in the area. he is expected to be okay. of course, police are investigating both shootings. happening now -- police are searching for 16-year-old kendall humphries of lake mills. the teen ran away from home on

police upgraded the case to 'missing and endangered.' police declined to get into specifics... but they say they cant be certain humphries is with people she knows. its believed shes traveling between dane and jefferson counties. humphries is five feet, four inches tall-- and weighs about 130 pounds. she has brown hair and blue eyes, with a scar on the left side of her upper lip. a milwaukee man goes to close the deal on his car...but becomes the victim of a robbery. fox 6's ashley mistaken call from an uber driver helped catch the criminal. never had any issues it was supposed to be a normal car sale-- at 76th and oklahoma-- nats mechanic patrick berry met up with 20-year-old kumasi wallace after he responded to a craigslist ad. he says, 'can i look underneath the hood?' and i said 'sure.' but berry quickly realized there

just took off. berry tried chasing after--but lost sight of his stolen vehicle. when he was on his way to the police station--he got a phone call-- somebody calls me asking 'where are you?' i said '...i was just trying to sell a car here.' it turns out berry wasn't the only person looking for wallace. an uber driver called berry thinking it was the suspect. investigators say wallace had given the driver berry's number, but made a bi drive his actual name. with his information, it made it so much easier for the police to find him. police found berry's stolen vehicle a block from wallace's home. the suspect was later arrested. i was thankful the police were able to do this and catch this guy and stop him from stealing other cars. berry says he's learned a lot from the experience, hoping others will too. it is a lesson learned for me. i

accused of firing at a milwaukee police officer. bail has been set at 100-thousand dollars for 23-year-old da-breon day-bree-on jefferson.last week, police were called to 26th and atkinson for reports of a burglary spree in the neighborhood. police say jefferson was seen looking into homes and was asked to put his hands in the air. police say he fired once at the officer using told police the gun simply discharged on its own when he moved. if convicted... he faces more than 70 years in prison. an update now on the overdose death of former 3 doors down guitarist matthew roberts. fox 6 has learned a physician from alabama has been federally charged in connection to the death. roberts died at the west bend hampton inn back in august, while visiting from alabama. west bend police worked with officials in

snellgrove prescribed the drugs that caused roberts to overdose. a federal court has blocked implementation of the new overtime rule. president barack obama imposed the law. it would have given overtime to salaried workers who make less than about 47- thousand-500-dollars a year. but 21 states challenged it-- including wisconsin. now the u.s. district court in the eastern the nationwide preliminary injunction. the court agreed with plaintiffs that the rule could cause irreparable harm if it wasn't stopped before it was scheduled to take effect next week. the department of labor could appeal the ruling - which then could ultimately end up in the supreme court. a detroit officer is shot in the line of duty. ...what the officer was doing before the shooting happened. and... new information about the driver of the deadly bus crash in

colin rose - was shot in the head while on patrol investigating car robberies. officials say rose was trying to stop a man on a bicycle off campus... and that's when he was shot. "i heard was three gunshots one behind the other." "it's just shocking, it's scary to have anbody shot that close, that nearby." rose is reportedly in grave condition this morning. he and works in the k-9 unit at the university police department. police are talking to a possible suspect. we're learning more about the driver of a deadly bus crash in chattanooga tennessee. 24-year-old john-tha-nee walker is in custody facing multiple charges. according to state records -- this is the second bus crash in two months walker has been part of. in april, walker got his bus drivers license.

new at 11-30... police are investigating the death of two people in new berlin. for help about 6-30 this morning at a home on hickory trail. when they arrived on-scene, they found a man and woman with gunshot wounds. the man was pronounced dead. the woman was taken to the hospital, where she later died. police say they're investigating this as a murder-suicide. "there was a male caller who gave this address and said help was needed, dispatcher asked him for more details and he just said help was needed here and

shawn oliver's family members are hurt and upset. "he was a great person she was wrong for this" a statement read on his mothers behalf expresses their feelings toward the incident and the driver during the fatal crash. "the family wishes to express their anger and frustration that this person took their loved on from them " police say an 18-year-old woman fled from police after being stopped due to a license plate issue. the speeding car crashed into another car and a light pole, oliver 18- year-old cousin was severely injured. "i want justice she hurt a lot of lives and it wasnt just shawn it was his friend mario who is fighting for his life " mario harrells mother whos by his bedside, tells me her son is hospitalized with broken legs, hips, fractured bones in his face along with a bad brain injury. loved ones of both victims are distraught, claiming the boys were good kids who never had legal trouble. "he had dreams he had aspirations that

him " "he was a very good child, he did not want to be in that situation " he thought he was closing an easy deal on his car... but that milwaukee man turned into a robbery victim. mechanic patrick berry met up with 20-year-old ku-masi wallace after wallace responded to a craigslist ad. under the hood... but then took off in berry's car. berry was on his way to the police station when he got a call from an uber driver... asking where wallace was. investigators say wallace had given the driver berry's number, but made a mistake giving the driver his actual name. police were able to locate berry's car a block from wallace's house... and make an arrest. it ended really happy for me. i was so proud of the police department and how quickly they worked.

hazards, high levels of lead or noise ... and batteries or chargers that can overheat. so our researchers searched online for recalled toys and of the 44 recalled toys they were able to find 16 that are available for sale online. like these pull toys ... which wispirg says have wheels that can break off ... and pose a choking hazard. or this pencil case ... with magnets they say can come off ... and if ingested ... cause serious internal injuries. materials that are used. the report says this glockenspiel ... has high levels on lead on its pink bar. just a little bit is very toxic. the toy industry association disputes that there's 'trouble in toyland' ... it says many of these toys were recalled ... because of ongoing regulatory vigilance. it says in part ...
