after a shooting. it happened in the area of 41st and lloyd around seven last night. we're told the victim is a 31-year-old milwaukee man. he was shot... and drove himself to a hospital. he died as he was being transferred to another hospital for treatment. police are still working to identify a suspect. milwaukee police also investigating a shooting in the area of 14th and arthur. it happened just before 11-30 last night. police tell us a woman in her mid- 20's was found shot in a car. she is being treated for a serious injury. the investigation is ongoing. get ready fo recount of the presidential vote totals in wisconsin is set to begin this week... and preparations are underway to make sure the massive effort goes smoothly. --that includes arrangements in case the issue goes to court! fox6s julie collins joins us live with the latest:...julie? the wisconsin election commision is holding a special meeting this morning to go over the timeline of the recall... volunteer observers of wisconsins presidential recount will also meet later this week for special training.

volunteers lined up across the state. they wont be able to touch any ballots, but they will be able to question clerks if they come across any discrepancy. state green party official george martin says the state board of canvassers needs to report back by today at noon with a plan on how to proceed with recount. martin says the green party is ready to go to court on this issue - if they dont get a full hand recount of all votes. the campaign for former candidate jill stein raised money last week to pay for the recount efforts in wisconsin, michigan and pennsylvania. george martin, state green party official gm 'if it is not as we requested per our affidavit, we will be in court monday afternoon seeking that it be mandated.' seeking that it be mandated.' martin says a full cost wont be known until later this week -

dollars in the dairy state. the state election commission says the recount will begin in all wisconsin counties on thursday december 1st and it must be completed by tuesday december 13th. reporting live downtown milwaukee..julie collins fox 6 news. meanwhile-- president-elect donald trump and hillary clinton are both reacting to the news of the recount. nicole is in the newsroom with details. the hill announced it will be joining the recount effort. and jill stein -- the green party presidential candidate who launched the recount - is now going after clinton. dgx this weekend she tweeted.. "why would hillary clinton, who conceded the election to donald trump, want #recount2016? you cannot be on-again, off-again about democracy" president-elect donald trump called the recount effort a scam on saturday. and now -- he says something fraudulent did happen during the election. dgx the president-elect tweeted... millions of people who voted illegally." president-elec trump did not say where he got those numbers. dgx the president-elect also tweeting tonight: "serious voter fraud in virginia, new hampshire and california" -- claiming media bias. at this point, there is no evidence to support that claim. fox news is reporting milwaukee county sheriff david clarke will meet with president-elect donald trump today. clarke has been a longtime vocal supporter of mister trump -- although there's no word on if he is being offered a position. fox6 reachedu comment. we were told quote-- the sheriff doesn't have anything to say. happening today - a brown deer police officer charged with shooting a man outside a milwaukee county bus will be back in court. earlier this month devon kraemer waived her right to a preliminary hearing. a criminal complaint says kraemer and another officer took a belligerent passenger off a milwaukee county bus back in march... and kraemer ended up shooting the man in the back. the man in that shooting survived...

kraemer has been free on a five- thousand dollar signature bond while waiting for today's court date. also today -- we are expecting to learn more from new berlin police about the two people found dead in a home on last wednesday. an elderly man and woman were found with single gunshot wounds inside their home on hickory trail. when police arrived -- the 76-year-old man was already dead. the 71-year-old woman was taken to a hospital where she later died. the young girl who survived a deadly crash in caledonia is now out of the hospital. the girl's father --kevin killed in that same crash.police say a suspected drunk driver rear ended their car. the 25-year-old driver of the striking car was arrested for two counts of homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle. a crowd funding memorial page was created to help the family. we have a link on our website, fox 6 now dot com. milwaukee police need your help finding a sexual assault suspect. it happened late saturday night... police say the suspect was caught on camera. they released this

you voted -- they counted. and now, state election officials will count again. wisconsin election officials are scrambling statewide, after a each and every vote in the state be re- checked. julie collins joins us live with the details - julie? the wisconsin election commission is holding a special meeting this morning to approve a proposed time line of the recount - this after green party leaders filed paperwork saying they are worried about exit polling data that didn't pan out. the green party raised more than 5 millions dollars in just a couple days to pay for this and 2 other

nine others injured. it happened early yesterday morning on bourbon street. police arrested two people - but say they just happened to have illegal weapons on them. investigators are still searching for the suspected shooters. police believe the shooting stemmed from an argument between the two - who did not know each other before that night. the two men got into a fight earlier saturday night... then ran into each other again... this time shooting at each other. five of the victims have since been four remain hospitalized and are expected to survive. a cincinnati judge will meet with prosecutors and defense -attorneys today.. to talk about how a deadly police-shooting case will proceed. the prosecutor plans to re-try former university of cincinnati police- officer ray tensing, for the 20-15 shooting-death of sam dubose. the first trial ended in a hung-jury earlier this month. prosecutors are asking for a change-of-venue, for a second trial. the chicago police department

he shot and killed a teenager. surveillance video shows the chase before that shooting wednesday night. the sergeant told investigators that 19-year-old kajuan kah-won raye pointed a gun at him... twice.but officials say they found no gun at the scene. a preliminary report determined that raye was shot in the back. officials have taken away the sergeant's gun and badge. they have not released his name. it's back to normal today at the aurora west allis medical center after the facility was put on lc police were searching for a person who was possibly armed-- and suicidal. police eventually located the person-- who was deceased. aurora health officials say the lockdown was lifted a short time later. wisconsin's 10-day gun deer hunting season is officially over. butchers at bunzel's meat market say they took in about 25 percent more deer this year. they say they've processed about 200 deer during the season so far. wisconsin's muzzle loader season is next -- running now through december 7th. are you burned out from all the holiday deals yet?
