with wisconsin law.' investigators say wauwatosa police officer joseph mensahs account of this june 23-rd shooting is backed up by what we see on this short video. were freezing the video right before shots are fired, but police chief barry weber says mensahs use of force is justified. bw 'the park closes at 10 oclock, if there are vehicles in there after hours, officers are supposed to investigate to see whats going on.' weber says mensah confronted jay anderson, car. anderson was asked to up his hands up after the officer noticed a gun on the passenger seat. bw 'that weapon turned out to be a ruger 9mm loaded with 16 rounds of ammunition and one in the chamber.' mensah called for backup... '305 is out with a subject in madison park who has a firearm.' bw 'on several occasions, the subject started to lower his right arm toward the space where the gun was located.' mensah says he was fearful anderson might grab the gun... and shot

mensah remotely activated the camera in his squad, which retroactively records 20 seconds prior to hitting the button. 'ive got a 30 some year-old male, black whos not breathing at this time.' bl 'are body cameras something that tosa pd is considering?' bw 'were in the testing phase of body cameras.' weber says mensah received mandatory counseling after the shooting. bw 'the officer involved in this incident will be returned to full duty.' spoke about the decision. this was obviously a highly anticipated moment for them angelica joins us from the newsroom with more on how the family is reacting. the family of jay anderson junior extremely disappointed in the district attorneys decision not to charge officer joseph mensah. the family held a press conference with attorney john safran monday. they maintain the investigation

shooting has not been transparent. police say anderson junior reached for a gun inside his car back in june. but the family says the dash camera video is not clear. jay anderson's fiancee stood says they'll continue to fight. though officials aren't saying much-- neighbors believe a man shot and killed his girlfriend before taking off-- just a couple months after moving into the area. later today-- wisconsin leaders will come together to discuss the state's transportation spending. however it is not going to be an easy discussion. governor walker wants to slash spending on major projects. and two g-o-p senators sent out a memo from the nonpartisan legislative fiscal bureau shows, if wisconsin does every road project could go up by 28 cents per gallon. but assembly speaker robin vos called that "fear mongering" because no one is proposing such a big tax hike. vos thinks the state needs to spend more on its roads for emergency responders. he rode in an ambulance to prove his point. imagine youre sitting here. look at this! holy cow! i cant even imagine what it would be like to be sitting in there i think that wisconsin residents are smarter than that. :03 they will take a more holistic look at our transportation system and the

restaurant in washington d.c... motivated by a fake news story called "pizzagate" involving hillary clinton. police say 28 year old edgar welch carried an ar-15 rifle and a handgun into comet ping pong over the weekend. newsham says: "the folks that were in the establishment at the time, immediately fled. there is some evidence that the weapon was fired inside the location." he allegedly walked in the door and pointed a gun at an employee. silmi says: "one of the staff need to get out of here so my immediate reaction was to get my kids and get out and that's what we did." the restaurant has been the center of a fake news story... which alleged hillary clinton was running a child sex trafficking ring in the basement. welch told police he was trying to save kids ... but didn't find any evidence the trafficking ring existed and

for months are vowing to stay. some are worried that either the federal court or president-elect donald trump could reverse the corps decision. kim and jessob. back to you. prosecutors are investigating possible homicide charges following the fatal warehouse fire oakland , california. the alameda county d-a says her office has just started the probe and has not determined if a crime occurred. however charges could range from murder to involuntary manslaughter.. 36 people were killed in that fire late fra the cause is still unclear. the wife of missouri's governor-elect is robbed at gunpoint in st. louis. in a statement governor- elect eric greitens says his wife, sheena had just left a coffee shop last night and was sitting in her car looking at her cell phone. when three suspects approached her. police were able to track down the suspects - by tracing a cell phone they stole from another car nearby. the thieves were just 14, 15, and 19 years old. greitens says his wife is "safe
