details. officer joseph mensah shot jay anderson six times...killing him. the wauwatosa police chief says the officer received mandatory counseling after the shooting and is cleared to return to work. he will not face charges this is the dashcam video. were freezing the video right before shots are fired, but police chief barry weber says mensahs use of force is justified. the does not have body cameras. but the shooting was recorded because immediately after the shots were fired, officer mensah remotely activated the camera in his squad, which retroactively records 20 seconds prior to hitting the button. chief weber says mensah confronted jay anderson, who was asleep in his car on june 23rd. anderson was asked to up his hands up after the officer noticed a gun on the passenger seat it was a ruger 9 mm loaded with 16 rounds of ammunition and one in the chamber. mensah called for backup...anderson allegedly
'on several occasions, the subject started to lower his right while leaning toward the front passenger seat where the gun was located, on each occasion the officer directed verbal commands to the subject instructing him to not reach for the weapon and keep his hands up.' chief weber says officer mensah has received death threats since the shooting took place. at six -- shooting officer mensah has been involved with. live in wauwatosa dc fox 6 news it's not the news jay anderson junior's family was hoping for. after viewing the newly released dash cam video, they maintain the investigation was not transparent. attorney jon safran pushing for federal criminal civil charges to bring this family peace. officials say greitens was robbed by multiple people while in her car at a coffee shop parking lot a little after 6 last night. she gave the suspects her laptop and cell phone. another car in the parking lot was also broken into -- and another cell phone taken. police were able to track it and find the suspects -- who then led them on a chase. they ended up crashing...and three teens were taken into custody. and in ohio -- after months of searching -- cleveland police have finally caught the man wanted for the alleged rape and abdu investigators say 29 year old justin christian abducted the girl from a home back on may 21st. he then took the girl to another house, where police say he held her hostage in a bedroom for 17 hours...and sexually assaulted her before dropping her off in a neighborhood near her home. christian then vanished and police spent several months searching for him. d-n-a left on a ladder at the scene of the attempted abduction of a ten- year-old girl helped police track him down.

serious condition...and the other person's injuries are believed to be non-life threatening. the owner of the store says on his surveillance camera, he could see a man firing shots as parade floats went by. police have made one arrest. the shooting forced officials to end the parade early. and in new jersey -- a state trooper who was injured in a head-on crash yesterday has died. authorities say a driver crossed the median on a highway and hit the state trooper's vehicle. the driver died at the scene...and the 31-year-old trooper later died at the hospital. officials say graduated from the 156th state police class in january. the crash remains under investigation. and here in wisconsin -- two state patrol officers involved in crashes sunday during the snow storm. the troopers were responding to other crashes in waukesha and wausau when they were hit. officials say drivers need to be on high alert this time of year -- situations you're used to can now turn to trouble on slick roads. one trooper says it's lucky the troopers were'nt worse off than their
