commuter bus driver failed to yield the right-of-way. >> the big commuter bus was on its way to st. mary's county with 10 passengers on board. it had just left a parking lot a few yards away. there's a stop sign at the intersection, but police say that the driver went right through it and crossed into oncoming traffic. >> the vehicle was traveling northbound route 205. the bus pulled out and collided with the vebus. >> this was right at rush-hour when people are going home systemwide. so it's right at the peak time. >> abc 7 news. >> the driver of the car 20- year-old carlin biles, died. the bus driver entity fairchild was taken to hospital with non- life threatening injuries. on to another developing

story. police will continue searching for missing germantown. --germantown boy. curtis lopez is accused of killing 51-year-old jane mcquain, found dead last wednesday. her 11-year-old son william has been missing two weeks and police are searching wooded areas. >> detectives have developed leads that have pointed this portion of the investigation in that direction. >> police arrested lopez at a motel in charlotte. he had the woman's credit card and a box cutter. two more teenage girls were nearly abducted as they walked near fairfax county school. high-school students said a man tried to force them into a car

commuter line at route 205. the bus driver also as minor injuries. investigators will continue searching for 11-year-old william mcquain, the germantown boy missing more than two weeks. the suspect, his stepfather, waived extradition from north carolina. girl told police someone tried to abduct them as they walked near oakton high school in fairfax county last friday blake lane near palmer street. another teenager reported a similar encounter last tuesday. as fans mourned the death of waracing champion dan wal heldon questions are being raised.

time for a check on traffic and weather every 10 minutes. >> let's check in with adam caskey. good morning. >> good morning. i want to talk about the weather pattern. today will be a beautiful day like yesterday. areas of cloud cover especially in the morning and sunshine with comfortable temperatures later. highs today in the low 70's. an area of low pressure coming from the gulf of mexico with moisture. another from the great plains will continue to push our way. they will merge to the south of the washington area. as they do that, they will form a bigger storm system that is stronger. that will bring areas of rain denoted by the green and yellow. by early tomorrow morning at this time we will have some areas of showers and they will
