meters before a protest is decided, if a decision has to be corrected, it is pretty hard to undo what has already been done. >> they wanted to have the taxicabs outfitted by election day, and now that seems unlikely. >> it takes time to modernize the taxi service and improve the safety and putting on a good face for the district of columbia. >> from drivers still some complaints about moving to get a credit card. he showed a receipt for a credit card charge that was declined at the end of eight large trip. >> i've lost 100 dollars. >> a lot of other major cities and virginia virginia taxicab's have those. >> the chairman says he is confident that ultimately the city will win and begin the installation of the smart meters in taxicabs. the contract appeals board is expected to make a ruling sometime in october whether the

storms and that will lead into thursday. only an isolated storm, friday the only day this week without rain in the forecast. temperatures out west are hot in the plains. 103 degrees in oklahoma city. 97 in omaha. even 90 in minneapolis. 90-degree heat tomorrow and on thursday probably moving into friday but things will change as we go into the weekend. the rain will be right back in the region. right now, 79 in detroit, 79 in raleigh/durham. no major features discernible here and nor any remedy can find of isaac. it is somewhere, but i do not know where it is. very tropical for the next few days when those other chances of
