the public's help tonight, desperately wanting to get this shooter off the streets, and they are upping the ante by offering a $10,000 reward. d.c. police back out in force at the scene of the shooting, canvassing the neighborhood, looking for clues to help them find whoever shot and critically injured a seven-year-old girl. the community is praying for her recovery. >> she is innocent. she did not do anything. roz: neighbors say the family had just returned home friday night, parked their car in the parking lot, and were walking around the corner when bullet started flying. the little girl was shot in her stomach. her father scooped her up and ran into a nearby building for shelter. a woman who helped them do not to show her face. >> they said the child was shot, call 911. the father was really frantic.
