month's deadly ski lift accident in granby, colorado.. a report from the national ski areas association says an electrical malfunction caused the accident. a problem with the electric drive caused the lift to jolt.. slamming a chair into a support tower. kelly huber of san antonio and her two daughters were thrown from the lift. the mother was killed. her daughters.. ages nine and 12.. were injured. a woman is washington state remains in jail, after posting a racially charged rant on facebook live. sandra jametski is being held on 500-thousand dollars bond. she's charged with a hate crime.. and with malicious harassment. her rant went on for more than 10 minutes, as she followed a latino woman who was driving to her son's school. prosecutors say a year earlier,
crash with the same family. the rant took an even darker turn when jametski allegedly threatened to ram the woman's s-u-v. prosecutors say jametski then angrily confronted the woman in the school parking lot, while recording the interaction on her cell phone. on the video, jametski blames one of the woman's children for causing last year's car crash. but police records show jametski was at fault. a man is in custody, after allegedly robbing a bank in rochester, new york of more than 100-thousand dollars. and he left a trail of cash behind him. police say joseph peoples robbed the bank thursday, then took a taxi to a bus station.
