part in the 9th annual embassy chef challenge. a panel of culinary experts judged dishes based on presentation, taste and representation. there was also a people's choice award selected by visitors. a loveable year book picture out of fredericksburg is turning some heads this morning. take a look. this is a page out of stafford high school's yearbook. leading off a row of pictures -- a beloved service dog. facing criminal charges this morning after police say he "body slammed" a reporter. sam sweeney is at the live desk with more. this all happened last night, hours before the state's special election. greg gianforte is the republican candidate. in an audio recording.. ben jacobs, a political reporter for the guardian newspaper, can be heard asking the g-o-p candidate about health care. then this happened. a fox news reporter who witnessed the incident says gianforte also punched the reporter. overnight-- police charged gianforte with misdemeanor assault, meaning he could face a

capital. the demonstrators demanded that the nation's president step down amid a corruption scandal. protesters broke windows, threw rocks, and set fires. police responded with tear gas. troops are now on the ground guarding federal buildings, including the presidential palace. a police officer in florida is out of a job.. after a violent arrest caught on camera. officers responded to the scene last month where a 13-year-old boy was breaking things and screaming. as they lead him away-- surveillance video shows one of the officers slamming the handcuffed teen to the ground. he suffered injuries, including a broken nose and broken teeth. the officer was fired this week, after an internal review was completed. other officers seen in the video were given corrective action and additional training. california police are hoping

help them find a man who went on a violent rampage inside a gas station. take a look at this. it happened march 28th. the owner says a man was loitering by the pumps and removing stickers from them. the clerk asked him knock it off, and leave the station. thats when he started trashing the store. the clerk was not injured. the man drove off. about 30 minutes later he was allegedly involved in a road rage incident. the victim took these photos, after the man got out of the car and pounded on her window. it's graduation

viral this week. we are now learning that the canadian girl pulled into the water by a sea lion-- is now recieving medical treatment. according to vancouver aquarium officials, there was concern that cuts she suffered could be infected with a rare bacteria from the sea lion's mouth. the infection, called "seal finger", can be tricky to treat since it is resistant to many antibiotics. if left untreated, marine experts say the bacteria could become severely debilitating. it's xx and xx degrees...
