flames fully engulfing a high-rise apartment building in london. this morning - the smoke from the building can be seen for miles. and right now we know there are a number of fatalities.. adrianna hopkins is here with more - adrianna? autria, larry - just a massive response happening right now - as the firefight enters it's ninth hour. these are live pictures from london right now.. you can see - the high-rise building just charred and still smoldering. british police are keeping people away from the scene.. as fears grow that the building could collapse. this was the scene overnight. just unbelivable images as the fire streched 24 stories high! makeshift ropes were seen hanging from windows. people who live inside say it was complete chaos.. again - we're told there are a number of fatalities and at least 50 other people are hurt

- president trump facing another lawsuit - this time from congress. nearly 200 democratic senators and representatives are suing the president over foreign money flowing into his global business interests. they allege the president is violating the so-called emoluments clause of the constiutition, which says only congress may approve foreign gifts and payments. the lawusit is the third of it's kind against the president. earlier this week, the democratic attorneys general of maryland and the district filed a similar claim. this afternoon both of them will be holding a conference call to discuss that case. the president and

morning - after being held in north korea. this is new video from overnight.. as otto warmbier returned to ohio. the 21-year-old was carried off the

hospital in cinncinnati. warmbier has been in a coma for more than a year. north korea says he had botulism- and took a sleeping pill. he was sentenced to hard labor last year for stealing a propaganda poster from a hotel. some speculated his release coincided with a visit from dennis rodman- but the state department denies that. the former n-b-a player's visit to north korea has been unusually low key so far. today - rodman met a women's basketball team at a gym and visited the birthplace of north korean founder kim il sung. right now there is no clear sign that he will meet with leader kim jong un as he did on previous visits. rodman's four past trips generated a storm of publicity and did little in terms of diplomacy. happening now... a manhunt underway in georgia now 24 hours after a pair of inmates escaped. authorities say donnie rowe and ricky dubose killed two prison guards on their transport bus -- then carjacked a passing vehicle. none of the other

told the senate armed services committee quote "we are not winning in afghanistan and we will correct this as soon as possible". developing now - a substitute teacher in fairfax county facing sex charges this morning. 22-year old hatim khalid abdel-rahman faces charges of solicitation of a minor and attempted indecent liberties. authorities say he arranged to meet a young girl with the apparent intent of having sex. anyone who thinks their child or children might have had innapropriate contact with abdel-rahman is asked to alert the authorities. new information- in a tragic investigation in montgomery county. two high school seniors-shot to death... the night before their graduation. now - investigators believe one of the victims owed someone money. we're told that person tried to collect money from artem ziberov- but failed. why that money was owed- and whether that played into the killings -is still in question. and so far, no suspects in the case. an apology this morning from the man who walked into comet ping pong in northwest d-c and fired a gun. edgar welch

the judge who will sentence him next week. welch said he realizes how "foolish and reckless" his actions were. welch faces up to four-and-a-half years in prison. an investigation happening now-- after a toddler drowned at a home day care. police say the two-year-old boy died at a home on 17th street in northeast d-c. the child was found in a small, backyard pool. sherry coye coy is a longtime friend of the person who runs the day care. the day care was licensed and police say at this point, the drowning appears to be accidental. the boy's name has not been released. montgomery county police a

the drowning of a 21-year-old man. montgomery and howard county rescue units recovered his body last night from the patuxent river in burtonsville. a group of young people had reported that a person they were with went missing in the water. police say the man drowned after stopping to swim and cool off at brown's bridge. police have not released his name. happening today.. d.c. mayor muriel bowser will launch a new service called "text to 911." d.c. residents will be able to request emergency services through texting. residents are urged to "call" 911 when they can. but the texting option will improve accessibility for people who are deaf or hard of hearing, or have a speech disability. the n-b-a champion golden state warriors haven't decided whether they will visit the white house. as of right now- they hadn't been invited- and they say they will make a decision if they are. it comes after reports that the team had voted against making a trip to d-c. the team's coach criticized president trump after the election. meanwhile - the penguins will hold their stanley cup parade today in pittsburgh. it's the second season of celebrations for the city of pittsburgh. it all begins around 11 a.m. pittsburgh became this year's nhl champions after defeating the nashvill predators on sunday. it's the franchise's fifth stanley cup in their existence. part of today's festivities will include the release of this 40-pound catfish... named "stanley" a fisherman caught the the fish to protect it from the predators' tradition of throwing catfish on ice during games. since the predators were defeated sunday, "stanley" has been given the all clear. he will be released into the water at point state park after the penguins complete their parade today.
