injured in an officer-involved crash plans to take legal action. shaunice stanback wants the d.c. police department to pay her medical bills.. and pay for a new car. she says a d.c. police car struck her vehicle saturday, at 17th and "l" streets northeast. she says the officer didn't properly slow down, or turn on his sirens before the crash. a woman who lives next to the intersection agrees with stanback's version of events. both stanback and the officer were hospitalized. stanback has injuries to her leg and hand. the police department tells us, it's conducting a thorough investigation. and it says its thoughts are with the officer involved.. and wit

a leesburg man is facing espionage charges this morning charges this morning kevin mallory was arrested yesterday for sharing top secret documents with a chinese agent. he was caught with more than 16-thousand dollars in cash in his carry-on luggage. sky trak seven flew over as the the f-b-i searched his home in leesburg. court records show he was an army veteran and worked as a special agent for the state department in the past. mallory has also held positions with different government agencies and several defense contractors. he is now being charged, under a federal espionage act. if convicted, he could face a maximum sentence of life in prison. big changes coming to metro this weekend - as safe track comes to an end. our question of the day is how you would rank metro post safe track? go to wjla.com/votenow and let us know. john gonzalez is live at the dunn loring station with what we can expect.

police say they recovered a weapon from the truck. developing now.. the prince george's county schools c-e-o is denying accusations of grade fixing to boost graduation rates. the school board met last night for the first time since those allegations surfaced. the room was packed, and dozens protested before the meeting. the school system is accused of allowing hundreds of students to graduate, without meeting the education department's requirements. the school board is divided on the issue. some board members deny the allegations of grade fixing. others are calling for an investigation. d-c is saying farewell to former councilman jim graham. he will lie in state from noon until five today at the wilson building. a funeral is planned for tomorrow at all souls church in northwest. those attending are
