president moon jae-in will hold formal talks today, at the white house. last night, president and melania trump hosted the south korean president and his wife, at a white house dinner. moon appeared to try to break the ice, telling mr. trump, he also suffers from "fake news" coverage. that prompted laughs. the two leaders discussed trade, foreign policy, and north korea. today they plan to spend more time discussing how to deal with the north korean threat. authorities on the scene late night to this deadly multiple car crash in accokeek. you see sky trak 7 flying over the scene here at on route 210 and pine lane. sources tell abc-7 that several cars were weaving in and out of traffic when one of the cars struck a van. the crash is now under investigation. john gonzalez is on the scene working to gather new information and we will have a live report coming up at 5 o'clock. de

county firefighter and a corrections officer are facing charges, after allegedly trying to pick up a prostitute. eric smolinsky and godson appiah were caught in an undercover sting. detectives put an ad on back-page-dot-com, and told them.. "bring gifts and i'll make it worth your while." the detectives lured the men to a red roof inn in college park on may 23rd. the two men were each charged with two counts during the sting. a high school football coach- arrested for inappropriate contact with a student! now- police want to know if there are more victims out there. marvin brown junior lived in upper marlboro, and coached at north county high school in glen burnie. police say he texted a female student- and touched her inappropriately. an update now -- and a happy ending for one local pup. we told you about huggles.... she has found earlier this month in isle of white county near virginia beach. doctors said she had been victim to the worst animal abuse they had ever seen. someone had sexually abused the dog with a broom --- leaving parts of the broom still stuck inside her. well after two weeks and life saving surge

early commute. an update this morning in the legal battle over the washington redskins name. the justice department -- giving up the fight! the department now says it believes the redskins would likely win the argument. it cites a recent supreme court decision regarding an asian-american band! many came out against the redskins name- saying it's disparaging to native americans. developing story - tennis star venus williams now in hot water for a deadly traffic accident near her home in florida. police say williams is at fault for the accident which happened at an intersection on june 9th. a map from the police report shows how the tennis star cut across in front of another car --

car. jerome barson, a 78-year old passenger in the other car was rushed to the hospital with head trauma. he died two weeks later. the report says williams was not texting .. or under the influence of alcohol when the accident happened. and so far, no charges.. .no citations. police say the crash is still under investigation. right now, two texas police officers are in critical condition after a wild shootout in san antonio. it all began when they tried stopping two men... one of the men began shooting immediately and hit one of the officers in the head. the other officer shot back killing one of the gunmen. the other suspect was arrested. as for the injured officers, we are told one is not expected to survive. today, millions of people remain in the path of severe weather that hit parts of the midwest.. and mississippi. wednesday's storm system spawned at least 27 tornadoes. some of the worst damage is west of eau claire, wisconsin. the wa
