doesn't plan on resigning from his position, despite the president's comments in that interview. right now. senator john mccain - in the battle of his life after being diagnosed with a rare type of brain cancer. the diagnosis coming after the senator had surgery last week to remove a blood clot above his eye. during the procedure doctors discovered a brain tumor. this is not the first time senator mccain has battled cancer. he's had several melanomas removed in the past. the 80-year-old will stay in arizona to recover and then begin treatment for the tumor. since the diagnosis.. many have sent their prayers and well wishes to mcain. sam sweeney - with the new reactions this morning. mccain reax at tagboard new developments, following a road rage incident in alexandria..

happened yesterday on the short road connecting eisenhower avenue to the beltway. a witness tell us, the woman was driving an s-u-v, and blocked the man's van in.. then she and a man with her got out and started screaming at the van's driver. police say the woman who was shot is 33, and from bladensburg. they have not relased her name. the shooting suspect, ernest stickell of mechanicsville, maryland, turned himself in. he faces two charges, including malicious wounding. happening today - the parole hearing everyone will be watching. in just hours - we'll find out if o-j simpson will soon go free. simpson's high-stakes review is this afternoon in nevada. the parole board- could let him go- after 9 years in prison. he was sentenced to more than 3 decades behind bars for a casino heist. there are 6

montgomery county. police investigating a fatal shooting in silver spring. this was the scene in the 21-hundred block of belvedere boulevard. police tell us that just before 10 o-clock-- a suspect entered a home there and shot one of the people inside. the man died later at the hospital.

know that evidence did lead to an arrest. but this morning, the video is raising doubts about that arrest and dozens of other cases he's been involved with. take a look - the video shows the officer walking down an alley, sifting through some trash and finding a bag of drugs inside a soup can. but body cameras automatically record 30 seconds of footage before it's activated.. and in those 30 seconds you can see the officer in that alley - appearing to plant the drugs! baltimore's police commissoner suggested the officers may have been reinacting the recovery of the drugs for the body camera... he didnt defend the action--say that action is also wrong. the officer is now suspended and two others are on limited duty as authorities investigate the video. prosecutors have also dropped the charges in this case and are now reviewing as many as 53 other active cases involving the officer.
