now - a texas tech student is in custody this morning, accused of killing a campus police officer. police say 19 year old hollis daniels shot the officer in the head in the middle of the police station. daniels had been taken there earlier in the night after drugs were found in his room. the shooting triggered a lockdown on campus until the student was captured. classes are set to resume today. back here at home - route one is back open after a deadly crash in lorton involving a pedestrian. fairfax county police say a woman was hit and killed near lorton and gunston road. the driver did stay on scene. the victim has not been identified. developing now - a prince george's county woman killed by police in miami. this - after police say she ran her car over a police officer! now - the woman's father is speaking out. suzanne kennedy is live in bowie with more - suzanne? six high school students in fauquier county who allegedly circulated disturbing messages
