alleged that spacey climbed on top of him in a bed, when he was just 14 years old. rapp says he was eventually able to leave before the encounter could go further. spacey apologized on twitter, but says he does not remember the encounter that happened 30 years ago. the house of cards star went on to say, "as those closest to me know, i have had relationships with both men and women. i have loved and had romantic encounters with men throughout my life, and i choose now to live as a gay man." a tragic accident in vienna leaves a young woman dead, and a 12 year old boy seriously injured this morning. now-- neighbors asking questions about security measures that may be able to stop it from happening again. police say a 12 year old boy was trying to commit suicide, when he jumped off of an i-66 overpass and landed on marisa harris's ford escape. the 22 year-old marymount university student was killed. the boy is hospitalized right

life-threatening injuries. police say the overpass has fencing at the highest point, but only a short guardrail on other parts. some neighbors tell us they think that should change. harris graduated from sherwood high school and towson university before going on to marymount. she also worked in a mental health facility, and volunteered with children. her father talked to abc7 off camera, and says the sad irony is that his daughter wanted to help kids like the 12-year-old boy who police say attempted suicide. in laurel, still no arrests in the laurel shooting-- that sent a 14 year old to the hospital. howard county police found the boy last night on laurel road. at last check-- he was in critical condition. a new twist in the crisis in the caribbean. a controversial power contract in

been scrapped! montana based, whitefish energy, had just two employees when it was awarded a massive 300 million dollar contract. and right now - just 29 point 7 percent of customers have power. that's just shy of the projected 30 percent benchmark set for today. the governor is insisting the november 15th deadline of 50 percent - and 95 percent-- by december 15th-- will be met. the vast majority of puerto rico has been in the dark for more than a month. baseball fans up late last night-- watching an historic world series game. and if you like high scoring games, then this was the game for you. the houston astros and the l-a dodgers put on a barn burner. 7 home runs, in a 10 inning game that lasted more than 5 hours! it was the second longest world series, ever played. in the end, the astros battle back in the 10th inning to win the game 13-12. you heard that right, 13-12! the astros now lead the series 3-2. from baseball- to football.

to get back on track, following another tough loss against a division rival. washington was up 13-7 against the dallas cowboys when the game started to take a turn. nick rose's field goal is blocked and scooped up by orlando scandrick. that sets up a dallas touchdown. washington tries to battle back in the second half, but they never close the gap. skins lose 33-19. the next three games for the skins will be tough. they are on the road against the seahawks, home against the vikings, and then on the road again against the saints.

boyes was captured trying to cross from texas into mexico. investigators say boyes escaped wednesday, walking right out of jail, in plain clothes. despite several headcounts, the jail staff apparently didn't notice he was gone until thursday evening. a lawyer for another prisoner says he heard about the escape from his client, and warned the staff. boyes was scheduled to be sentenced friday for a carjacking and

he'll face additional charges once he's extradited back to west virginia. four prison guards have been suspended without pay. a grim anniversary for the family of stacy peterson. this week marks ten years since the young mother disappeared, without a trace. peterson was reported missing on october 29th, 2007. at the time-- her husband, drew peterson, told police that stacy left him and her kids, to run away with another man. stacy is presumed dead, but her body has never been found. drew peterson, remains the sole suspect. he is now inn prison, serving 30 years for the murder of his previous wife. police in texas are trying to find out what led to a tragic instance of domestic violence. the incident began friday night outside a movie theater, when a young man introduced himself to his girlfriend's father. police say the father immediately shot and killed the boyfriend, then ran over the couple with his truck. the father was later found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. a friend of the boyfriend says he's stunned by what happened.
