jumped off the cedar lane overpass on i-66 in vienna. he hit an s-u-v driven by 22-year-old marisa harris. she died at the scene. her boyfriend was in the front seat, and was not injured. the 12-year-old was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. marisa harris was a graduate student at marymount university in arlington. she was studying clinical counseling. her father says the irony is, she wanted to help kids like the 12-year-old who unintentionally killed her. in laurel, still no arrests in the laurel shooting-- that sent a 14 year old to the hospital. howard county police found the boy last night on laurel road. at last check-- he was in critical condition. right now thousands are in the dark - as the wind and rain knock out power across the dmv. northern virginia hit the hardest! right now dominion virginia is reporting more than 62-hundred without power. novec reporting nearly 45-hundred in the dark - all of those in loudoun county. pepco has 250 customerw

worshiped at the 244-year-old episcopal church in alexandria. the decision is in response to the violent protests over a confederate statue in charlottesville back in august. the plaques have been up since 18-70. a christ church committee is now deciding where they'll be moved to. the anti-defamation league is holding its 23rd annual "concert against hate" this evening. three people will be honored at the kennedy center event, including 18-year-old gavin grimm of virginia. the a-c-l-u filed a federal lawsuit on the transgender teen's behalf over gavin's high school's restroom policy. gavin has since graduated, but is still hoping to change the school's policy. in the commonwealth today - state officials are meeting to discuss the possiblity of decriminalizing possesion of small amounts of marijuana. the virginia state crime commission will present the findings of recent study at a meeting today in richmond. the outcome of today's meeting could lead to legislation in 20-18. coming up at six - another w
