it's sunny and 71 in central md -- mitt romneyed md right now -- maryland right now. police in mississippi arrest a man in connection with two fatal shooting along stretches of the highway. a 28-year-old has been taken into custody. he will be charged with capital murder. investigators thought the killer was poses as a police officer -- posing as a police officer but they say that's not the case. firefighters in arizona are

immediate metro area between 70 and 72. just a beautiful afternoon shaping up. our normal high is very close to about 75. we will nail that today with no problems. nice breeze, 12 miles an hour. this nice sunshine and this breeze, it's cooler coming in off the water. it's adding to a delightful afternoon. temperatures all around us in the mid atlantic and down to the south in the 70s. we're going to be tapping into some of that air. the temperatures are going to be coming in because of that southwest flow through the weekend. 80 the next few days. high pressure dominating the forecast. still those showers marty talked about near the carolinas. we expect this high is going to stay strong enough to make the clouds increase. a better chance of rain monday into tuesday. our chance comes in from a another system.
