that is going to be very beneficial. here's what is happening as we speak. the lanes we are talking about are over on the left side of your screen. that is i-4 eastbound. it looks like we have the right lane that remain blocked. i want to take you to the map data. you can see it is a fairly localized delay. because it was an overnight issue and it limits the number of cars on the roadway. started off with a rough improving. that is your check on traffic right now. back over to you. >> outside, it is going to feel more like summer than spring. >> i was getting my tan again. let's get the details from troy bridges. >> spring doesn't officially arrive until the 20th. we have awhile to go. it feels hot out there. you can see a beautiful view of daytona beach as the sun is just about to come up. we'll see a good bit of that
already at 64 degrees with a south wind daytona beach. we are at 61 in ocala. 63 in orlando. we warm quickly through the day up to 83 by noon. all the way up to 87 at 4:00. average of 77. no rain today. we will see some rain through the weekend. in fact, we are going to pinpoint rain hour by hour for you. this morning, we are waiting to find out what led to a terrible crash in daytona beach. >> a car and a motorcycle collide. you can see the aftermath on your screen. that motorcycle ended up stuck fire. the crash shut down nova road for hours overnight. this was just north of boulevard. johnny is there live. what do we know about any injuries at this point? >> we have very limited information about the injuries.
was air lifted to orlando regional medical center with burns. the scene cleared probably within the last two hours. what it looked like just moments after the crash. take a look at the video. you can see the front of the -- the front part of the car that was involved in the crash was burned after the motorcycle ended up underneath the car. daytona beach, they are crash. a witness i spoke with tells me the crash happened when a lanes. that's when the driver of a car lost control and drove right into it. we also do know that the witness said the passenger who was riding on the motorcycle was the one who was air lifted to orlando regional medical center. you can see there are a good deal of skid marks on the road. i want to show you parts of car -- parts of the car involved here in the crash were still on the scene when we got here. i'll be pressing police for more answers.

politics under the news tab. >> this college student accused of flashing a girl at a publix is out of jail. malik cook bonded out of jail after deputies say he exposed himself to a 15-year-old girl inside of the store on 434. that wasn't the only story involving this popular grocery store. >> you have nothing to say to these families? this is your time to defend yourself. do you have anything to say to these allegations? . >> tough questions. he was avoiding that camera. we were right there last night as a man accused of taking pictures up the skirts of girls walked out of jail. police say surveillance cameras at the publix caught 27-year-old scott irwin red hand. detectives say he hid his phone in a shopping basket to take those pictures. and the victims were as young as 5 years old. irwin has bonded out of jail and police took his cell phone and computers but haven't said what they found on them. >> the georgia mother who was
an amber alert says she isn't planning on returning to her home state any time soon. extradition? >> i choose not to. >> clarion garrison says she plans to fight extradition to the state she ran away from with her three children on wednesday. deputies believe it could be because her fourth child, a 2-year-old girl, was found dead in their home according to georgia officials. georgia officials will have to get a governor warrant to bring her back to face charges of concealing her daughter's death. those charges could be upgraded as the investigation continues. >> the quest for a championship came to an end last night. the team will be searching for a new head coach. team officials announce they fired head coach donny jones last night. the team finished the season
overall record in six years under jones. the athletic director says they are moving forward with a national search for the knights next head coach. news comes just days after school staffers also announce they would also be parting ways as the head basketball coach. a lot going on at that school. in hours, an incredible sight set to return to the space coast. >> the war bird air show kicks off. this year, there is a new twist we are learning about. the three day event is in titusville. this year for the first time, the show will include some nighttime performances in the dark with a special illuminated plane. gates open today at noon. >> the video reminds me of yesterday. the weather was perfect. i ran about five or six miles. now i'm sore. >> it was the perfect day to have a plane write something in the sky. >> we'll see more blue sky and

fairbanks avenue. you can see here with sky 6, a lot of improvement. we have two out of three travel lanes moving through the area. there is no longer any need to detour around. that is progress. progress. >> also breaking this friday morning, a motorcycle rider is in the hospital after this fiery crash overnight in daytona beach. witnesses tell us a woman riding on the motorcycle ended up pinned under this car after a crash. flames. we know the rider suffered burns. so far police won't give us any other information about what happened. >> also breaking overnight, firefighters in los angeles spent the night battling a massive fire in a 70,000 square foot building. walls of flames could be seen sending black smoke high into the air. look at the video. it is shocking. officials say 100 firefighters responded to that scene. the fire is now out. but crews are keeping an eye out for hot spots.
the fire is unknown. >> we are getting a brand new look at dramatic chase footage out of volusia county. >> the whole thing started when a driver took off after a traffic stop. a drive speeding in the area near lpg boulevard. detectives say they used stop sticks to slow the driver down. you can see sparks flying out of the back of his car. that didn't stop the driver who eventually pulled over and took off running through this neighborhood. however, he wouldn't get far as he was eventually arrested. so far, deputies haven't released the identity of the drive and they have not said what charges they will face. >> two of the top executives at the wounded warrior project have been fired. this is over a scandal over spending. they were two leaders of the nation's largest veterans charity which brought in $350 million in donations in 2014 alone. while that money was all pouring

>> there is breaking news overnight coming out of daytona beach. it involves a fiery crash between a car and a motorcycle. both vehicles caught on fire after the biker ended up under that car. this happened along nova not far from west international speedway boulevard. johnny is live this friday morning. at least one person was badly burned in that crash. what more can you tell us at this point? >> i spoke with a witness who saw everything. he tells me that the driver of the car lost control of the car and then drove into the motorcycle motorcycle. he said the passenger was actually trapped under the car. now, the scene cleared within the last couple of hours. i want to show you what it looked like moments after the crash. take a look at the video. now, one thing we know, firefighters got here a little after 1:00. you can see from the video and the pictures, the front part of the car involved in the crash was burned after the motorcycle
like i said, i spoke with a witness who told me moments before the crash, the motorcycle driver was actually switching lanes when they were hit. that victim ended up being air lifted to the hospital after being pulled from the wreckage. now, we are coming pack live. you can see that there is a good amount of skid marks here on the road left over from where the crash happened. take a look at all that. also we found bits and pieces of the car when we got here to the scene. now, still a lot of questions remain. i'm going to be reaching back out to deputies to try to get an update on the victim's condition and what could have caused this crash. once i get new information, i'll pass it along to you on air and online on clickorlando.com. >> >> we are following breaking news in apopka where police have issued an alert for a missing 16-year-old boy. armando was last seen wednesday afternoon.
