sells about three million tickets a week in california.. but yesterday people were buying 3 to 5 million tickets an hour. 3 fairfield city schools now have a unique medical resource in their backyard. it's the first ever fully integrated, school based health care center at a suburban district. local 12's perry schaible joins us live in the newsroom with a sneak peak inside. 3 you can find the health care center on donald drive, in a white, non descript building accessed from the same parking lot as the fairfield intermediate school...the building may not look like much, but big things are happening inside. it's a one stop shop serving student's health needs. there is a medical wing, vision care, dental services, and an area for behavioral needs. this is a similar model to the heath care center at oyler elementary in price hill... what makes it different is the co-existence of all four

important, especially in fairfield, where close to 50 percent of the students are on free or reduce lunch...which means they're living below the poverty level. what makes it work is a partnership between several organizations including one-sight, a non- profit created by luxottica. 3 "the child can come here, have a full comprehensive exam and get eye glasses and while they're here, if there is a notice that the child has other needs, hasn't had their immunizations or physical, they can be referred here. or as you're doing the exam if you notice there is some type of dental hygene that they need help with, we can refer them."there are a lot of organizations that have come together to make this happen. the people involved are excited to see it open. a dedication ceremony will be held at five o'clock tonight. sheila...back to you. 3 the new health care center serves students in the fairfield city school district. they'll start seeing
