3 president obama in his final state of the union address tonight is expected to talk about how far we have come in the past seven years since he has been in office. this comes just a week after he announced his executive actions on gun control bypassing congress. abc's stephanie ramos reports from washington. 3 obama sot: i have no more campaigns to run. my only 3 agenda -- i know, because i won both of them.(applause) that was president obama at last year's state of the union address......now...in his final year in office he'll speak before congress for the last time ....but instead of trying to persuade the joint session to work with him in 2016 ..with legislative to- do's?.the president is expected to deliver a speech...with a slightly different tone compared to years past.in a video released by the white house.......mr. obama previews what he'll say tonight?sot from video "what i want to focus on in this state of the union is not just the remarkable progress we've made, not just what i want to

3 george washington university is the latest institution to rescind the honorary degree of said it made the decision in light of - quote - "renewed distress" for students and alumni who are survivors of sexual assault. last october, the school said it did not rescind honorary degrees. dozens of women have accused cosby of drugging and sexually assaulting them over the years. 3 3 3 prosecutors say no charges will be filed against former nba star lamar odom, following his near fatal drug overdose in a nevada brothel. in october, the 36-year-old former n-b-a star was rushed to the hospital after he was found unconscious. authorities say a blood sample shows odom had cocaine in his system. prosecutors say they can not prove possession or that odom took the drug while

3 intense video out of texas. a scaffolding broke loose on a high-rise building, leaving two people stuck on the platform. firefighters pulled the workers through the 71st floor of downtown houston's tallest skyscraper. thankfully both of them are o-k. investigators say a motor on the scaffolding malfunctioned. 3 3 northern tennessee got its first significant snow of the season over the weekend. this is clarksville--near the kentucky border. they got about haha an inch of snow and sleet there sunday-- temperatures were in the teens. 3 3 the world record powerball jackpot of one point four billion dollars means more people will be on the job tomorrow night at one convenience store in asheville. at the triangle stop along asheville highway... nearly seven-thousand powerball tickets were sold this saturday alone. that's seven times the average amount sold a day at that convenience store... and more ticket sales means more money for the store. 3 roger bright, assistant manager: "i think our business is up non-lottery, it was up 10 percent saturday, so yeah, it kicked us up. it's a

3 everyone in sports.college hoops tonight. western carolina trying to make it two southern conference wins in a row.catamounts at home for their third straight game--this time hosting uncg after a convincing win over vmi saturday.rhett harrelson hit a 3 with :34 seconds left to send the game to overtime. and western used a 9-2 run sparked by torian brummitt's 3 point play to put this one away.harrelson with 22 points, brummitt with 20.cats at chattanooga thursday.the unc asheville bulldogs keep racking up the wins and the honors.this time its dwayne sutton. he was named big south freshman of the week for last week when he averaged over 15 points a game. last week,dylan smith got the honor.dogs are 5-0 in big south, and are off until saturday when they host gardner-webb.asheville in first place in men's and women's hoops in the big south. you can see them both against gardner-webb on my 40 saturday. women's game at 2, men's action follows.the carolina panthers get into the
