home goes up in flames in arden. this is new video from the scene on glen bridge road. skyland fire department was called to the home just before 11 last night... and says it was heavily envolved in flames when they arrived. no one was home... and no one was hurt. crews remained on scene overnight to investigate the cause. we have calls out to the fire department to learn more information. 3 3 also new this morning... flags are flying at half staff today in franklin... to honor a decorated mountain vietnam veteran who died this week. this is video of army staff sergeant nathan "nat" henry from the veteran's day celebration in franklin back in november. he spent six years as a prisoner of war in vietnam... and earned two purple hearts, two silver stars and two bronze stars. his funeral will be held this sunday in the chapel of macon funeral home... and a full military burial will follow at burningtown baptist church cemetery. 3 3 also new this morning... an investigation is underway into the death of an upstate high school basketball player. the spartanburg county coroner

morning america this morning. 3 and it is about to be a very busy time for presidential candidates. the south carolina primary is about six weeks away. tomorrow, the republican candidates will debate in charleston. then, democratic candidates will hold a debate there as well on sunday. news 13 will be there for both debates and will provide complete live coverage. 3 3 laywers for the n-double-a c-p say the state board of elections has not properly trained workers since the new voter i-d law went into effect. the n-a-a-c-p was sharply critical of state efforts to let people know about the new law. the complaint: the state is not telling the whole story about the law --or telling it fairly. 3 rev. william barber / nc naacp 14;10;32 instead of clarity out what the law really says we have clouded, unclear messages going out over the radio, printed out on these brochures. the lawsuit 3 against the voter i-d law goes to trial january 25-th.

3 bad weather caused a 40- vehicle pileup in dearborn county, indiana on tuesday. several trucks crashed into each other ....near the ohio/ indiana border. as you can see, many of those vehicles were tractor trailers. six people had non-life threatening injuries. the area got hit by two rounds of snowstorms, tuesday morning. some of the snowfall came during the morning commute, causing bad visibility and slick roads. 3 3 3 3 here is a look at what you can expect for the next three days. 3
