the owner of a business next-door is worried about crime and safety and the president of thomas more college across the street is threatening legal action. school officials in auburn, maine have adopted a new policy that would allow students as young as pre-k to be given medical marijuana on school grounds. it is one of the first school medical marijuana policies in the country. the policy allows primary care givers to administer the medical marijuana to a child with a certificate. >> we are protecting our staff. we need a policy in place so they are protected from something going wrong. sean: school officials are not aware of any students in their district who currently qualify for medical marijuana treatment during school hours, but they wanted to be proactive. if a student does qualify, only

kevin: we start off with sunshine and light breeze. very similar to what we had yesterday. changes arrive eventually and they start with increasing clouds tomorrow. we could see a mixed shower early or later on saturday. it looks like the main push of the next system would arrive in the morning on sunday. it could be a mix initially. it will then go over to rain, which could be heavy at times with the potential of wind. temperatures right now are not too bad to take. we are seasonably chilly and close to where we should be this time of year. we do have the clearer skies in most locations and we will have a light wind into the afternoon. temperatures this morning ranging anywhere from lower range of the 20' s closer to the coast line to teens inland.

the valleys, but temperatures are running 5-10 degrees warmer than what we had yesterday. still a few spots below zero up north. we are looking at temperatures to get anywhere from the mid-30' s to as high as 42 later on this afternoon. that feels pretty good with just a few high clouds drifting in from time to time. temperatures are really not falling tonight. upper single digits in the north country to lower half of the 20' s in southern areas. notice the increasing clouds tomorrow. this could be due to more of an onshore flow ahead of the next storm system. any sort of drizzle that tries to develop on friday afternoon could be in the form of patchy, freezing drizzle that will be rather spotty into early saturday. there could be a mixed shower

it is later saturday night that the next system makes its way toward us. there could be a band of heavy rainfall on sunday afternoon. across that front. temperatures today within a few degrees of 40 in southern areas and not falling quite as far later on tonight. inland sections. temperatures in the 30' s to near 40 over the next several days. partial sunshine on friday. we get into the weekend. maybe a little bit of drizzle early on saturday. the best chances will be centered around late morning on sunday through sunday afternoon as mainly rain. we have had four inches of snow for the season in concord, the lowest amount of snow we have ever had in a winter season in 155 years is 27 inches of snow.
