"early today" starts right now. a lot of developments to tell you about including the highly controversial plan by donald trump for dealing with muslims in amernua. he's suggesting he would create a data base that would require american muslims to fo register and possibly give them special identification. and a jewish group says registering everyone to a certain religious list? we've seen that. it doesn't work out well. we're learning more about the female who detonated a suicide vest in this week's raid and she posted this to social media in june and audio of an exchange with police during that raid.

[ gun fire] also belgium is conducting more raids and we have you covered in london and brussels but we begin with ro., good morning, ron. >> reporter: she was identified as the 26-year-old suicide mber in that dramatic wednesday raid in paris. what remains unclear is her relation to the suspected ring leader, though officials have said she described herself as his cousin. abdelhamid abaaoud was confirmed killed and she was born in a paris suburb, the daughter of a moroccan immigrant, for a short
time time owning a business and she was mistreated as a child, renounced islam and would be seen drinking and doing drugs ebut earlier this year she reportedly told them she was a jihadist which some of the neighbors thought was a joke. and they continue daily raids on who they think are in connectn with the terrorist attacks or possible terrorist attacks. and the underhouse voted overwhelmingly to prolong the emergency until february. it allows them to place people deemed a risk under house arrest and enter house without warrant. >> what's the lisest on those fovernight raids? >> reporter: well, shannon, now that the ring leader is confirmed dead, the hunt
continues for the last known attacker from last friday attacking that paris. well, now he's believed to possibly be here in belgium and that's probably what the investigators were doing yesterday looking for. three of the nine houses they searched are in some way related to the paris attacks and one of the houses belonged to the abdelhamid abaaoud family and now people were taken into custody for questioning. and we don't know yet whether any of them will be arrested today and prosecutors said they will release a statement shortly. but that's one of the problems. right here, suspects can only be detained without charge for 24 hours and yesterday, the government tried to extend it to 72 hours. we'll see if that is imp mented today. >> with everything that's happened in europe over the past week, there's a simple question people are asking at home, are
