he was an immigrant and moved to new york and wanted to be involved with the city. his father and grandfather both served in guyana. they praised his father who. >> he was strong enough and brave enough to go in and address them as they try to comfort him, he in fact was comforting them. here is an extraordinary individual. >> reporter: he is a fourth officer killed in the line of duty the past 11 months. in 2142 officers were murdered in brooklyn. in may and officer died two days after he was shot in his police car. >> for officers killed in 11
