investigation. does this have ties to local abduction cases. >> mark: the feds want to know if the man caught staring in a little girl's window is tied to another case in elyria and kidnapping in cleveland. >> romona: denise zarrella returned to the neighborhood where parents are on high alert. right now the f.b.i. says two cases are definitively linked attempted abduction and abduction cases and this peeping tom case has similarities. >> eliott shows me and my photographer where he thinks someone tried to get in his 3-year-old daughter's bedroom window. >> it was chipped. i feel it was a coincidence it was her window out of all the windows in this house. you could tell it was her window because there are pink and blue curtains. >> the scary part is a peeping tom was discovered by a mom across the street. the man she says was looking

she changed her clothes. >> i can see his face. i can see what he was wearing and standing there and see how happy he was looking at my daughters. they're babies. >> the f.b.i. says there are similarities and no definitive connection between the peeping tom case and case of a 6-year-old abducted from her cleveland home in the spring or attempted abduction of a 10-year-old girl in february. last year another little girl was taken from her home in north ridgeville and surveillance cleveland and elyria cases had been released several weeks ago and the fact no arrests have been made has parents on edge especially parents of little girls. >> it is weird. it is scary. who knows if we have seen him pass around a few times around here. >> the f.b.i. says time is of the essence to get this suspect behind bars before he strikes again. we're asking questions, getting answers here in elyria, denise zarrella, cleveland 19. >> romona: as far as the

previous elyria case, the f.b.i. has a tip line (216)622-6842. there is up to $20,000 reward for the person who can help police successfully identify and prosecute the person responsible. >> mark: all right. it started out -- i was out running earlier and it felt dry along the lake, just like that and then the lake breeze kicked in and then all of a suddeu >> it is more humid on the lakeshore. good point there. once you get the lake breeze humidity goes up and overall very nice. in general humidity is low and pretty much stay that way. the difference between warmer weather this time of year and let's say july when a lot of times you get warm like this and usually associated with humidity. we have the weekend cooldown and stays warm for now.

breeze is. 83 akron-canton and 84 mansfield and wooster. all these temperature changes coming with very little or no rain. details on that my next time out. mark, back to you. >> all right, jeff. thank you. we know five victims in the related murder cases unfolding in ashland, and mansfield. harry boomer talked to the family of candice cunningham. police say the woman shawn grate killed. >> reporter: it is a bright sunny day in canton and not in the house where candice cunningham once lived. her family is in a dark place because candice was murdered in mansfield, police say by shawn grate. >> she was my middle child. she knew no wrong in anybody. >> her trusting nature but her at deadly risk. candice cunningham was the third of five victims from admitted killer shawn grate.

mansfield last week and now her family is hurting and grieving. >> why would somebody have the right to play god and this monitor, there's nothing good for him right now. >> candice's mother told cleveland 19 that she had not spoken to her since late april early may and called her from mansfield. candice says she would be moving to north carolina and call her once she got s the family got the dreaded knock on the door from police. >> did he have stated. >> it is the worst nightmare to go through. >> what would you say to her if you could see her now. >> i love her. >> i am shocked. i don't want to believe it.

it is not happening to you and one day this knock on the door and it has happened. i am angry. real angry. >> that family still has lots of questions. the one they want answered most is why. hopefully, they will get those answers when shawn grate goes on trial for multiple murders. >> reporter: in canton, harry boomer, cleveland 19. >> romona: shawn grate is his bond $1 million. he pleaded not guilty yesterday to kidnapping charges for a woman who escaped an ashland home. right now prosecutors have only charged him in two of the victim's deaths. dani carlson is getting more answers as shawn grate may be connected to other victims. >> reporter: that's right. the ross county sheriff's department has confirmed to cleveland 19 they are looking at the cases of at least five women

if there's any connection to alleged murderer shawn grate. the ross sheriff's department tells cleveland 19 women range in age 20 to 37 and before the grate developments one of the women were thought to have committed suicide and another thought to overdose and two missing. grate is currently in the ashland county jail as romona mentioned facing murder and kidnapping charges to which he plead not guilty. so far there's no linking great to the ross county cases but we are told the department will continue looking at evidence to see if he may have been involved in any of the deaths or disappearances. >> getting answers, dani carlson, cleveland 19 news. >> romona: we will continue to investigate this story as it unfolds. updates on our app and and breaking details on social media as we learn them. >> mark: the grand jury indicted two cleveland men for the execution style killing of a

key sean newell and doss recruited breanna fluitt. the charges say newell was ordered to kill the teen. she had been with the two men when they robbed citizen's bank in august. the explosions in new york and new jersey that injured 29 people are investigated as an act of terror. today we hear from the suspect's father. >> i called the f.b.i. two years ago. >> what did you tell them? that you have a connection with this guy. rahami for stabbing his brother in the leg. rahami is a u.s. citizen from afghanistan and traveled there three times recently and once to pakistan. police captured rahami after a shootout yesterday. he had writings on him including references to osama bin laden. he is hospitalized with gunshot wounds. >> romona: in north carolina today, donald trump addressed the bombings.

temporarily suspend immigration to areas with ties to terrorism. >> these attacks were made possible because of our extremely open immigration system. >> romona: hillary had no public events scheduled today. she held a conference call with national security advisories about the recent bombings. it looks like donald trump will be back in our area tomorrow. the new spirit revival center says he will hold a town hall meeting in cleveland heights. the event will be part of a pastor and conference. there's no confirmation from the trump campaign and is scheduled to be in toledo tomorrow. just getting dressed can be difficult for those with disabilities. >> mark: clothes often don't fit quite right for people with down's syndrome and disabled vets. jen picciano shows us how a local company is making people smile one pair of jeans at a time. >> reporter: when karen

sagamore fire district center disbanded. there are several thousands of dollars of damage. >> romona: in-patient services at lakewood hospital ended earlier this year and the e.r. remains open. today the mayor and fire chief addressed treatment concerns in the city. >> i am deeply disturbed by the allegations and untruths spread by people in our community politically motivated and trying to scare others by attacking our emergency service system here in lakewood. >> the e.r. at the exception of admit patients to lackwood hospital. >> the emergency department will remain open until a $24 million family health center opens in 2018. it also will have an e.r. now to the bombshell dropped today regarding hollywood's high profile couples. >> actors angelina jolie filed for divorce from brad pitt. they recently celebrated the second wedding anniversary.

we will be back in the 80s tomorrow. here is 8:00 a.m. forecast upper 50s to low 60s here by 11:00 tomorrow morning we have been seeing this trend well in the 70s. i even think by noon tomorrow we will be at least 80 degrees and eventually mid-80s inland and lake breeze kicking in. it will be a repeat performance of what we saw today. lots of sunshine. i will go with 86 tomorrow and thursday with the average high being 72. it is above normal. by friday, 77. not as warm. look at what happens on saturday. 68. you might think to yourself we have a front coming through and ton of rain with the temperature drop. well, it's not going to happen. we will get cooler. it will come with little or no rain as it happens.
