can they make a difference... our expert says it depends. "sarah palin sound.... "stomp on our necks... chill" sarah palin's endorsement of donald trump made headlines. trump: i think endorsements, depending on who... are valuable. political experts say trump's right, and palin's endorsement might help him out. rachel 31:08 i think among trump supporters it's a huge endorsement. many iowan's will remember this not-so- subtle endorsement from katy perry to hillary clinton rachel 35:20 katy perry appeals to a certain group of people, tha'ts a group that hillary clinton would liek to energize, young voters. and there are endorsements that are smaller, like lindsey graham endorsing jeb bush. 34:58 it may cause people to take a second look at jeb bush. rachel payne caufield say endorsements... big or small... politicians or celebrities... make a statement. 32:04 more than anything an endorsement signals to voters what your positions are and the level of comfort that somebody has with

contender ted cruz, and tells voters not to trust cruz because he's backed by big banks. "here's a guy with two bank loans - that we know of. but the problem is he didn't do it purposely because what we wanted to do is say i will protect you from goldman sachs, i will protect you from citibank, i will protect you from the banks, because i'm robin hood.. and i'm this wonderful senator and i will protect you from these bank-and then he's borrowing from the banks! and by the way, he's got a personal guarantees, and he got low interest loans, got low interest loans, low interest -- and now he is going to go after goldman sachs? it doesn't work that way, goldman sachs owns him, remember that folks, they own him " jack: trump has been hitting cruz hard on the trail this week, continuing to call into question cruz's citizenship and ties to the oil industry. cruz will be back in iowa this weekend. there's a saying in sports-- it's not about how you start but how you finish. finishing is the how you finish. finishing is the key for the hawkeyes who are out to a 6-0 start in the big ten and making waves in the national eye. but don't expect fran and his hawkeye team to sit back and take in the praises. no-- he's got his eye on the prize-- and that's the next game. the iowa hawkeyes find themselves in the ap top 10 for the first time in a few years. last time it happened was back in january of 2014. "sound on top 10. " now to stay there-- they have to win a pair of games this week. starting with rutgers thursday night-- a team that was just crushed by purdue 107-57. "rutgers is much better than they by purdue 107-57. "rutgers is much better than they showed last night. you look at wake forest game, you look at the indiana game. that's more indicative of how rutgers is. and we have to know and

even facing a scarlet knight team that has yet to win in conference play. senior guard mike gesell won't let his team get ahead of themselves. "i think we've learned a little bit from experience even with augustana in pre season how it's a very good team still and you could lose to anybody on any given night. especially if you don't bring it. especially in the big ten top to bottom it's the best conference in college basketball right now." now the hawkeyes just have to make sure they can keep up the pressure throughout this lineup. "i think they know their roles to the fullest extent they continue to work and progress their games so i mean we haven't had a whole lot of let downs we havent' lost a game because of it yet. we're hoping not too we have to stay prepared stay focused. coach is really harping on that a lot so everybody is ready to get better." the hawkeyes are right behind indiana who is also unbeaten in conference play at 6-0. a win thursday would put them back in a tie with the hoosiers. the ninth ranked

"sometimes it's best to just have to push all the chips to the middle of the table and wichita forces you to do that. and they're on an upward trajectory for sure with getting those guys healthy they've got a couple of
