the freebies as well. that's america's money. we have new video for you from a scary scene near san diego. tv reporter and photographer hurt when a tree came crashing down on top of them as they were preparing for a new weather report. an engineer working with them back at the station saw it all happen and said the burst of wind came out of no weather. >aria yelled and ran off camera and the camera went to black. after a little while the audio came back and we could hear that she was in pain. >> the station says the reporter was seriously injured and will require surgery, didn't say what kind. the photographer had a compound leg fracture and had surgery yesterday morning. we have to get back to south florida and talk about our weather. >> julie has bee talking about fog all morning. >> for how long? >> probably until about 9:00 this morning. i thought we were going to take those live pictures from

weweere going to talk about the live pictures from punxsutawney phil it. temperatures are in the mid 20s. it's chilly out there for him. relative humidity for 85%. they are dealing with humidity issues as well. for us it's uncomfortable. we have temperatures in the upper 60s, nine degrees above where we should be this time of year. lower 70s ft. lauderdale and key west. as you can see these temperatures are showing in the upper 60s, pembroke pines, hialeah, kendall and homestead. 68 in pompano beach with the winds calm, it feels really uncomfortable out there. definitely a different forecast than what we saw yesterday. at least we got rid of the rain. visibility is almost a mile right now in hialeah, kendall and hohostead. that's our big concern this morningn before that warranted that dense fog advisory. that will go until 9:00 a.m. this morning. all of the ingredients are there. we h he clear skies. we have calm winds. we have higher than normal dew points and you're going to feel it as you walk out the

start on this tuesday. we can't r re out a chance of a shower but high pressure is drying out the aosphere. so could see a stray shower off that east southeast breeze. major winter storm bringingnow across the rockies in towards nebraska. aot of snow over oklahoma and this system could spark this severe weather over the mississippi valley and tennessee valley. parts of this area could deal with severe storms as well as tornadoes because of the heat and humidity ahead o the front. for us here in south florida we've got this pocket ofry air. the good news about this is that's suppressing any wide-spread chance of showers and storms. we're definitely going to be warmer today. feels-like temperatures could be in the mid 80s once you factor in the relative humidity to the air temperature. it's going to feel more like spring instead of winter. we'l$ tell you the warm wednesday. at least we'll see our breeze pick up as we to move in. bad.

because it's dry outside. you won't be happy with the other news. we have some patchy fog. some of it very dense over inland broward and miami-dade. check out these temperatures. wewee running eight degrees above where we should be. 73 ft. lauderdrde and key west. the winds eventually will start to pick up out ofhe east southeast. that's going to provide for another warm, humid day. temperatures in the 60s pembroke pines. we have 68 in homestead. the wind moving int about three to 13 miles per hour near ft. lauderdale. as we take a look at the it visibility issues, we see a mile is reported near kendall. the worst of it is testifyie inland. inland we do have that dense fog advisory in effect until 9:00 a.m. take a look at the forecast we're expecting mostly dry conditions but can't rule out a shower. we will see an afternoon full of highs in the low to mid 80s. feeling moree like spring, constance.

moisture you're feeling as you walk out the door. that's providing for the patchy fog to develop. winds moving off the ocean and that will continue to warm us up throughout the day. two-mile visibility in pembroke pines. so this dense fog advisory will go in until 9:00 a.m. for inland broward and miami-dade. constance jones will have more on t roadways. for us we are seeing dry conditions. there's one shower popping up over las olas. we're all starting to dry out after dealing with some heavy rain yesterday and some gusty winds. all thanks to high pressure building back into our forecast. now we've got a major snow system moving over portions of the nation's midsection. look at all of this snow, a shield of snowfrom the rockies in towards the dakotas and nebraska. this is going to bring severe weather across the mississippi valley today as very warm humid air ahead of the system. remembererhe clash of the two air masses provide for the lift in the atmosphere. we'll watch that front because it will
