take a look at the plane as it stands tonight. it crashed into a front yard and hit a small s.u.v. i want to t te you to some pictures from first responders. can you see the single engine plane completely demolished and told by neighbors it came down the street here at pltation and it skidded its way and landed in this front yard. it is incredible it did not hit anyone. that's because if we look at the map you can see how many homes are in this area near the tavernaero airport where this plane was trying t tget. as we come out here live neighbors tell us that the pilot was able to get out with the help of other neighbors as well as first responders and said to be okay. he said he thought this was the runway. obviously, not the runway but quite a scare for neighbors. the pilot expected to be okay. the investigation now ongoing.
>> thank goodness no one was thank you. new at 11:00 a break in a case of a violent robbery. a man attacking a teen stealing his gold chin now under arrest. police say this guy has done this before. the victim is talking to the one and only local 10 news reporter andrew perez live from miami. >> reporter: this is not the only victim speaking out. many other people are happy to hear of an arrest. police say this guy was caught on camera. arrested again and again. >> reporter: he is seen statang out the business and when he thinks it is clear he makes his move demanding money from the clerk, making threats ordering her to the ground making threats in spanish. >> the clerk telling us she was trembling the whole time.( the crook leaving this valero gas station near marlins part. >> i could have ended up shot or injured.
the same exactrook according to police. >> he came, took my chain and threatened me with a gun and telling me to take off the bracelet. i don't have enough time. >> the man following the student with a camera and friends at the charter school in miami and lunges at the teen and yanks his enough. the guy wants the bracelet, too. he takes off and you can't run forever. police say they have arrested this man and connected to the robberies and many others across the miami. >> he suld learn what he did. it wasn't right. >> those relieved to hear of an arrest. the gas station and subway were hit and alfredo garcia was caught thanks to many, many tips from viewers and gold old passioned police work. >> so far five crimes in thier police are connecting him to. policece saying they think he could be connected to more robberiessn the area tonight and remains in jail.
