mar vot shares the blame for that secretly recorded video seen by more than 17 million people. erin andrews later tweeting this statement. i've been honored by all the support from victims around the world. their outreach has helped me be able to stand up and hold accountable those whose job it is to protect evevyone's safety. >> it's ongoing and it's going to be ongoing f f the rest of her life. >> reporter: andrews claimed the hotel made it easyor her stalker, michael barrett to get a roooo next door to hers and through a peephole he altered shoot video of her getting out of the shower. the hotel claims he was a criminal who tricked them into gaining access and one juror saying the only debate for the group was how much to pay her. the $55 million payout will be split almost in half with barrett taking 51% of the fault. the hotel's management company and owner, 49%. >> an amount that high sends a pretty strong message. >> the hotel industry we just felt like they need to get the

why is thahat a problem? he's got no money so the real question was how mucuc i going to be allocated to marriott so by doing this verdict at51% responsibility for barrett, he was clearly the guy who actually did it, but then a whole 49% for marriott, that's about as good a verdict as she could get in terms of the split. not only do you have this big $55 million verdict but this $26 million verdict against marriott so all in all a really big win for erin andrews. >> do you think that the amount will hold, though, under appeal. >> the first question is going to be for the judge. e judge is going to review this verdict first and if the judge thinks that it's excessive, the judge could actually be involved in reducing it first of all even before an appeal but i think thathere's very likely this verdict will stand largely eve if it's reduced a bit. >> all right, dan abrams, we appreciate it. anks so much. and now to that bombshell announcement rocking the tennis world, maria sharapova, one of the sport's biggest stars calling a press conference

us at 49% to 15%. but certainly they're spending tens of millions on fighting me, the establishment and, you know, they would rather not seee in there. you had failed people mitt romney talking, one of the worst campaigns i've ever witnessed in my life and he's out there now speaking negatively as negatively as he can. you know, where was that energy when he was fighting obama? he disappeared he was a terrible candidate so i guess, you know, i would imagine somethingike that could have an impact but we have a lot of loyal people. >> nobody would call michael bloomberg a failure. here's what he said. he's not getting in because he' worried it might help you and said "trump has run the most divisive and demagogic campaign i've seen preying on people's prejudices and fears. trump appeals to our worst impulses" from someone who's been pretty friendly to you and
make sure you don't win. >> well, look, you know, i mean i used to be a friend of his when he had a problem with ferry point a failed project in new york he called on me to solve it and i did. i made it successful and was under construction for 0 years and no one knew what to do. he used to be a friend of mine. i guess he disagrees with what m saying but i lot agree. we have to be vigilant, smart, strengthen our military and strengthenenur borders. we have to get rid of obamacare and replace it with something good, george and, you know, i mean the polls i'm looking at, i don't know about the o os you have but the ones i'm looking at, i'm way up in michihin and way up in mississippi which are going today and i'm doing well in idaho. i love their potatoes and i doing well in idaho and doing well in hawaii, so i just don't know what to tell you. >> meantime the number of prominint people comparing you to adolf hitler is growing by the day.
c.k.k. and glenn beck called you a dangerous man and yesterday the mexican president said you're using the same language that ushered in hitler and mussolini. i can't remember that kind of comparison being used against any other presidential candidate. does it suggest to you should tone down your rhetoric and tactics? >> well, maybe so but i mean, look, i have a tremendous following. we want to make america great again. it's a strong following. i don't know about the hitler comparison. i hadn't heard thaha but it's a terrible comparison. i'm not happy about that certainly. i don't want that comparison but, you know, we have to be strong and we have to be vigilant and people agree with that and we don't want to lose our jobs to china and we don't want to lose our jobs to mexico and japan and all these countries taking our jobsway from us like we're children. we don't know what we're doing. we have leadads that don't know what they're doing. we're losing so much in this country and we're losing -- we're losing the spirit and we just can't do it so i have to be -- i have to be strong and,
have a tremendous following. you know, the republican, the biggest story in politics is how many people are going to the primaries on the republican side, it's a record number. ey're up 55%, 60%. some are up as much as 100%. and that hasn't happened ever. they say is never happened. and the democrats are down 350%% so something positive is happening? we'll wait to see what happens tonight, thanks for joining us thismorning. >> thank you very much. >> all right, thank you, george. nfl superstar peyton manning made it official yesterday. announcing his retirement and ending his record-breaking care. the broncos quarterback and two-time super bowl champ known as the sheriff got emotional when he announced his decision. >> today, i retire from pro football. thank you to the indianapolis colts organization and a of the fans across this country, to all of my denver teammate, thank you for what you've done for this old quarterback and, of
