you may see extra northbound traffic with people coming back from the shore for now it's quiet and you're good to go. >> and we are starting this morning with breaking news, three people shot in their car in north philadelphia, police are looking for the shooter. katherine scott is live at hanheman university hospital in center city. good morning katherine. >> reporter: good morning, tam two people are inside the hospital right now being treated for gunshot wounds, the car they were in is parked outside hanheman emergency room. it is surrounded by crime scene tape. drivers side window is shattered it happened apt 11th street at 2:00 a.m. several shot several bullets inside the car that the two men were in. one got the out of the car and ran to a nearby home. the other man drove himself to
the hospital in the shot-out car. police have not said who they think shot these two men and they checking on their conditions right now. but, again, we know two people are inside hanheman treated for gunshot wounds. central detectives are investigating this one. katherine scott channel 6 "action news." >> "action news" has exclusive video of a train plowing into a car in newark, delaware. only "action news" was there this morning. police officers -- getaway from there. >> again on "action news" was there police officers saved the man's life before a freight train smashed into his car in newark delaware. again you're looking at an exclusive video into the impact. the car got struck on the railroad traction at 11:00. two newark police officers were working and rushed over to
rescue the man. they got him out before the cx train hit the impact of the train pushed the car 100 feet. taliban is taking responsibility for the attack on the parliament building in average. gunman stormed the compound and met with afghanistan security forces. the suspect ran into a nearby buildings and police have the building surrounded right now. "action news" was there for a big meeting today related to pope francis' visit to philadelphia. a delegation from the city arrived in rome this morning. they are finalizing the plan for the september visit. mayor nutter and the top safety personnel are meeting with the vatican police and the pope's security forces. business leaders will be meeting
with their vatican counterparts. the world meeting of family starts september 22. the pope arrives in philadelphia on the 25th. northern suburbs than in philadelphia. down the shore, 85 is the high, a nice day on the beach. taking a closer look at that, 84, 85 from surf city to ocean city. mid 60s in the ocean water. some of the buoys around the mouth of the delaware bay are getting into the # -- 70s and rehoboth beach 86. tomorrow we build into a hot and humid afternoon and there's a chance of showers and thunderstorms developing some of which could strong, by 1:00 p.m. most of us are okay. after we get past 3:00 p.m. there's the possibility of some of us getting ready to charge through the region. by 5:00 p.m. everybody will not see these where they hit we'll see drenching downpours and strong gusty damaging winds. these are probably off the map. we have the chance of severe weather where these hit and you can see across the region for tomorrow we have a slight chance

block of scatter good street at 1:30 a.m. developing overnight search teams in new mexico recovered the body of a missing former white house chef. walter went missing in the mounts after hiking and never returned home. he was in good shape and amateur hiker no word on what may have killed the chef. a driver caused # crashes after a police say he got on a texas highway going the wrong way. it happened in san antonio. a good samaritan tried to stop him and took his keys when he finally stopped. >> you know what's going on
