night. both men were taken to presbyterian hospital in stable condition. in the second incident a 23-year-old man was shot near 55th and walton avenue in west philadelphia around 12:15. he was walking when he heard gunshots and then he realized he was shot in the thigh. that man was taken to presbyterian hospital in stable condition. in both of these cases police are going to surveillance cameras hoping to find suspects. >> we're nine days away from the arrival of pope francis. no parking signs just went up in center city. people need to move their cars or they will be towed. >> reporter: it seems we learn a little bit more what's opening and closing what time and penndot released information about road closures and restrictions in effect during the pope's visit. let's go over to katherine scott live on the parkway she'll give

you a rundown of the very latest. good morning, katherine. >> reporter: good morning, tam, there will be a lot of closures around the city, along the park away where we are we'll have the festival of families the papal mass. there will be closures on surrounding highways. we have more information on the closures and when they might come to an end. >> i live in king of prussia i work in philadelphia unfortunately. we'll see what happens. >> reporter: as the papal visit approaches the realities of the traffic restrictions are setting in. i-76 eastbound will be shut down from i-476 to i-95. 76 westbound will be closed from i-95 to u.s. route 1. but note the schuylkill is open westbound from the boulevard on ward toward the blue route. 676 will be closed in both directions from 76 to i-95. and u.s. route 1 will be shut down in both directions from

we are slow on the schuylkill expressway westbound from this shot we can see a touch of fog. it's not reducing visibility too much, but something to be aware as you head out. i-95 southbound traffic heading toward center city jammed past academy to cottman and again from the ben franklin bridge to girard. we see crews off to the right side already a 28 minute ride from woodhaven to the vine. a bit slow on i-95 southbound. >> pope francis will be here in 9 days, penndot is issuing important reminders about road closures while philadelphia reaches out to the city's homeless to dispel plans that the city plans to drive them away. katherine scott is live along the parkway where the papal stage is being constructed. >> reporter: matt, so many people coming to the city on tuesday, the world meeting of family begins at the convention center and there's the event along the parkway. the papal mass, the festival of
