this woman who posed as a home care nurse and stole from an elderly woman's house. a deadly airstrike that has hit a medical clinic as afghanistan forces try to keep the taliban at bay. officials say an anonymous threat surfaced online against a university near philadelphia. it was posted after the deadly shooting in oregon, david murphy is live in villanova now with more on the story. david. >> reporter: yeah, rick, whether it's a hoax or not, colleges and universities in the delaware valley are all taking this very seriously. so far this threat has had a huge impact on law enforcement and school communities like villanova university here. >> it's a scary environment. you can never prepare for that. >> reporter: the threat is nonspecific mentioning only a university near philadelphia. every college and university in

the area even the university of delaware have sent out warnings to students and staff to be alert. it is frightening for students and many appear to be skipping classes today. >> am i first class today it was usually around 35 kids in there, it was about ten kids. the classes were decimated and the normal coffee lines, everything is lower than usual. >> reporter: schools all over the delaware valley are afterring up security and turning to local police departments for help. radnor township police has extra officers on duty patrolling four college campuses including villanova, they take every threat seriously. this one stands out. >> what is amplifying this the thread is coming off the same social media website that is connected to the tragedy in oregon last week. >> reporter: the threat says october 35 at 1:00 p.m. central time a fellow robot will take up

arms near a philadelphia university. police and officials are urging students and staff to stay alert. >> it comes back to, if you see something say something. we're pressing people to monitor social media, if they pick up anything unusual it's a direct threat or indirect threat. >> reporter: the message was posted the day after the oregon massacre. as the time mentioned in the threat approaches about an hour and half from now. david henry, channel 6 "action news." >> we're working to get information about a shooting in chester that injured four people. police were called to the scene around 8:30 near the corner of 21st street and edgemont. three people were struck when

gunfire erupted. a child was cut by broken glass. police have not released any information on their conditions or anything about a potential suspect. if philadelphia, 36-year-old man was rushed to the hospital after he was shot in the thigh. it happened last night around 11:30 in the city's hunting park section. the man is in critical condition. the shooting is under investigation. >> from our delaware newsroom, wilmington police have identified the victim in this week's deadly it had the and run. 43-year-old robert worth was hit on the 500 block of maryland avenue saturday morning, he died at the hospital. 40-year-old sean russell was adler, he faces dui charges. philadelphia police want your help tracking down a burglary suspect who police say policied as a home healthcare nurse, the suspect was found wandering around a house in south philadelphia. somebody confronted and said she was a nurse sent by the
