live on i-95. building volume that's southbound traffic heading toward center city not a major delay only a is a minute ride you know that will grow quickly as people get out and about this morning. looking live in northeast philadelphia. woodhaven road at the boulevard, the overnight construction is cleared. the disabled vehicle is clear. you see the poor guy is stuck for about an hour, 42 westbound approaching limerick. he was able to drive away, matt and tam. >> back to the fire, crews are monitoring the warehouse that ignited into a three-alarm blaze last night. eva pilgrim is live at the scene in southwest philadelphia with what's happening this morning. eva? >> reporter: firefighters you can see behind me are here on the scene it appears they are starting to wrap up a little bit. we saw the firefighters come down the hill from the warehouse a short time ago. this is a vacant warehouse on the 2,000 block of 71st treat in southwest philadelphia. they have the hose running

across the street and appears there's water in the hose. they were managing hot spots most of the morning. because this hose is crossing the street, 71st at kingsessing these streets right here remain closed for now. the fire broke out after 8:30 p.m. at this vacant warehouse 71st and king as he -- kingsessing. flames were pouring out of the roof. firefighters had multiple ladder trucks on the scene as they tried to attack the flames from above. around 11:00 p.m., the fire was placed under control. residents nearby did not have to be evacuated from the scene, but told to stay in their homes at the height of the blaze. again, back out hear, live, the roads around this vacant warehouse are still blocked this morning right here at 71st and

forward. claiborne is behind bars on $50,000 bail. homicide detectives are asking for tips in the killing of a transsexual woman. jenkins was jumped after betting out of the car in the logan section on tuesday morning beaten and shot device in the back. she was known around the area as a high-earning prostitute which could have made her a target for robbers. >> an illegal set back for bill cosby. the lawyers were denied to throw out a sex assault lawsuit against the actor. that means he'll have to answer question under oath in in a deposition tomorrow. german automaker volkswagen

an argument between two neighbors turned into an brutal brawl that spilled on to an massachusetts street. one onlooker recorded the scuffle. police on the bottom stabbed the man on top. authorities say the men had on going problems. one man's attorney said his client has mental health issues. the police officer caught on camera tackling a former tennis star did use excessive force. james blake was standing outside a new york city hotel when he was thrown on the ground. blake said the officer came at him without taking steps to insure he was the man in question. the board recommended that charges be filed, but the police commissioner will determine if that happens after an internal investigation. >> time is 6:16. reunited and it feels so good. see the heartwarming welcome

he never reached the school, he was picked up by police. police found the firearm with another student who will be charged with two others. people in mercer county are told to get tested for hepatitis b and c and hiv after a nurse used the same syringe for administering flu shots. a fire forced everyone out of a building yesterday afternoon, crews found the flames shooting up to a penthouse. it starredded -- started with a generator that caught fire in the basement. an investigation is underway to piece together how these two little philadelphia boys walked home from school

woodhaven. the heavier traffic is southbound, that's jammed as well that's southbound woodhaven to approaching cottman. a new accident on i-95 police walking across the highway right here. another accident lower providence township brought down a pole brenda lane. police on the scene with that one. we have two accidents on the schuylkill expressway, westbound montgomery drive you can see police on the scene. the left lane is blocked. you want to expect delays coming west of girard. on the schuylkill expressway westbound here you're jammed from the boulevard to approaching gladwyn. you see 16, 18 miles per hour. this is the second accident on the the schuylkill expressway that's also westbound that one is on the shoulder. traffic is a mess this morning, matt and tam. >> well, it took crews two hours to knock down the warehouse fire in southwest philadelphia. here we are hours later and firefighters are there trying to make sure it doesn't flare back

up. eva pilgrim is live near the scene. she's got the very latest. good morning, eva. >> reporter: good morning, tam, firefighters are wrapping up the scene you can see them as they begin to remove the hose. this hose is stretched across the street because of that 71st and kingsessing has been closed down. they have been out here all night that into this morning battling the hot spots keeping an eye on them. the roads remain closed for now, shortly we should see them reopened. >> at one point you could smell the chemicals. smelled like paint. somebody said there was an old paint store there, wood and all that. it's crazy sitting here watch everything go up into flames. >> reporter: now, this fire broke out at 8:30 p.m. the flames were pouring out of the roof when firefighters arrived. by 11:00 p.m. they had the fire

under control. thankfully residents did not have to be evacuated from the scene. firefighters are removing the hose and they should be opening this up again soon. live in southwest philadelphia, eva pilgrim channel 6 "action news." >> everybody have -- eva, than. gunfire erupted in camden. police say a 21-year-old man was shot in the chest. officers are looking for the triggerman. a collision in northeast philadelphia left two teenagers in critical condition. a pick up truck broadsided a vehicle carrying two 15-years-olds. a 17-year-old was in the car and was treated and released. the driver of the pick up was not hurt. accident investigators are trying to determine the cause of the crash. >> doctors without borders are renewing a call for an

independent investigation into the airstrike in the hospital in afghanistan. doctors without borders said the hospital was used to treat patients from both sides of the conflict and not as a base to launch attacks. the organization is calling for transparency into the incident. they want want an international commission to investigate whether humanitarian law was violated. >> we've seen these attacks occur on humanitarian workers and we want a solid system to be able to establish the proof for this attack and potential future incidents. >> yesterday president obama apologized to the organization and said the u.s. would exam military procedures to prevent mistakes. >> costal south carolina is on watch for a surge of flood waters from earlier in the week flowing toward the sea.

accident on i-95. we know there are injuries, let's go to karen rogers, karen. >> reporter: yeah, i-95 has been shut down i-95 northbound traffic so we had a vehicle that was completely facing sideways. they hooked it on the back of that penndot truck hopefully opening some of the lanes. you see the emergency workers on the scene. i-95 northbound between academy road and woodhaven road. nobody is moving. all lanes stopped right now. i was watching live as i saw the crews backing up to get to the location. we have one of the vehicles hooked up to the penndot truck to get ready to tow it away. we see the emergency vehicle with the flashing lights all

traffic stopped i-95 northbound jammed from cottman to woodhaven. southbound is jammed extra heavy as people check it out. southbound jammed from woodhaven to cottman and again from the betsy ross bridge to girard. that's the accident on i-95. you can see the slow speeds, 18, 12 miles per hour. slow go. 71st and kingsessing avenue we have a fire location there. watch for restrictions. stick to lindbergh and island. let's check live on the schuylkill expressway they just cleared an accident, schuylkill expressway montgomery drive westbound they had an accident that cleared a second ago. we have another one approaching gladwyn that's off to the side. so two accidents on the schuylkill expressway westbound that we've had. so we've seen back ups there. westbound traffic at this point moving about ten miles per hour. extra heavy with the accident. all these accidents on highways

and yet no weather-related problems. it's dry and sunny and nice today. matt and tam. >> a police chase straight out of the wild west unfolded in texas monday night. this is newly released dash cam of police trying to wrangle up two men on horseback. a fight broke out at a rodeo. one man surrendered, the other galloped away. it didn't take long for the police horsepower to win out. $600,000 were a buried in a suspect's backyard after a bank heist. the feds are trying to track down another 300 grand. four people have been arrested in connection with the heist. two are truck drivers accused of stealing the money during a delivery. new this morning, media
