building with the volume. not jammed, but a few more people up and out on the roads. the ben was jammed yesterday. so far so good so lanes open coming westbound into the city. eastbound they have the right lane blocked with construction. as we look at the big picture, speeds are down in the 30s at i-95 southbound at cottman abbey girard that's one of the spots you start to see the slowing. in the 50s in other areas. we have emergency construction closing down the chestnut street eastbound that connects penns landing stick to dock street. >> breaking right now, two temple university students were the victims of armed robberies overnight. details have been evolving all morning. one of the incidents happened on campus. katherine scott was the first with details on the breaking story, she is live in north philadelphia with more. good morning, katherine.
>> reporter: good morning, tam, that's right, two temple students were robbed in two different armed robberies, police don't believe the same suspects are behind each of the armed robberies. neither of the students were injured. police are hoping there's surveillance footage that can help in the investigation. the first armed robbery took place at 1:00 a.m. at 10th and susquehanna off campus. a temple university football player had gotten out takeout food walking back to his car when he was approached by two men in their early 20s. they took his wallet and phone and 2005 cadillac with new jersey plates. the student was not injured. 3:30 another armed robbery was reported on the 1800 block of north 15th street on campus. a student was walking home when he was approached by two men in red hooded sweatshirts. they took his wallet and iphone.
that student was not hurt. police are looking for surveillance footage and working with the students to get more detailed descriptions of the suspects. live in north philadelphia, katherine scott channel 6 "action news." >> thanks for the update, katherine. radnor police released surveillance video for a mannor wanted for breaking into cars in villanova university. the man in the white tank top tried to use a credit card stolen from a car on city avenue to buy cigarettes. the theft happened on september 3. the cards -- the cars belonged to the members. football team who left them on in the lot while on the road. an arrest in connection with the death of a 55-year-old psychiatrist in hockessin delaware. the victim liervegd on the he he -- the lived on the unit block of withers way. the victim's daughter discovered
her body. less than an hour later a man called saying he was responsible. he was arrested and has not been charged. new details on lamar lamar odom. and what left him unconscious at a nevada brothel. the owner of the brothel said he drank alcohol and 911 recording said the star used cocaine and ten herent pills. >> please hurry. >> reporter: the sheriff's office said they obtained a blood sample. his he estranged wife remains at his bed side. jesse jackson who visited the star said he had some

susquehanna off campus. a 21-year-old temple university football player had gotten takeout food he was walking back to his car when he was approached by two men in their early 20s. one man was armed and they took his phone and wallet and the keys to his new jersey 2005 can a -- cadillac. another robbery was reported on the 1800 block of north 15th street which is on campus. the man was walking home when he was approached by two men in red hooded sweatshirts. they took his iphone and wallet but the student wasn't hurt. last month a temple student was sexually assaulted on campus. in response to the armed robberies, temple sent out the t-u alert warning students to
use caution and steer clear of the area while police investigate. we're live in north philadelphia, katherine scott channel 6 "action news." >> thank you, katherine. new this morning, gun fire in south philadelphia left a man dead and two others wounded. it happened on the 500 block of ritner street after 9:30. police found a man dead at the scene with a gun dead in his hand. the other two shooting victims turned up at area hospitals they are in stable condition. police look are looking for clues in the mysterious death of brendan creato who was found half mile from his father's home. authorities will have to wait for a month for the toxicology test. meanwhile, the 911 call his father made has been released. >> i woke up, he wasn't in the apartment. i don't know if he wandered out
of the house, i don't know where's. the door was locked, but i guess he unlocked it. >> the mother tells "action news" he is innocent and heart broken. a 91-year-old woman is fighting for her life this morning. a septa bus hit her as she was crossing the street. this happened at 5th and godfrey yesterday evening. the septa bus made a left turn and struck mary gable and her nephew. the back of the bus ran over her legs and torso. police say the accident was captured by septa's surveillance system. 6:35 clelings -- colleagues are sending their regards to top cop commissioner ramsey. he was hired 8 years ago. the commissioner said he may be
