far, the killing freeze is likely possibly tonight in the outlying suburbs and sunday night into monday morning. i'll talk about that in the seven-day forecast when i see you in just a bit. >> new jersey state police are investigating a deadly pedestrian crash on the atlantic city expressway in camden county. first responders were called to the westbound lanes in winslow township. medics pronounced the victim dead at the scene. only one lane of traffic was getting through the on the shoulder always state police investigated. chopper 6hd was above a nasty crash that injured a police officer. the officer's patrol car and the suv collided. the force of the patrol car sent the car into the woods. the officer was sent to cooper

hospital. police know who they are looking for in a violent home invasion in a temple university neighborhood. >> we'll solve the crime we'll append the individuals because we know who we are looking for. >> reporter: police know who they are looking for in a violent home invasion two blocks from temple university. >> they robbed the victim of his wallet, watch, jewelry and cell phone. >> they fled on foot security cameras inside and outside the buildings. the victim cut in the eye was able to give the detectives critical information. >> the victim said he recognized and knows two of them. the victim's roommate was home

at the time of the invasion but was in the shower and unaware that anything happened. the victim was taken to temple university hospital to be treated for the cut to the eye. jeff chirico channel 6 "action news." >> philadelphia police are hoping surveillance video will identify two suspects one for robbing two temple university students this week. this surveillance video was released yesterday. the suspect pulled a gun on the man and robbed him and stole his cadillac. three hours later, another man was robbed at 18th street. if you know the men contact police. a lehigh valley woman who admitted her role in a murder mr for higher plot has learned her fate. prosecutors say she tried to higher a hit man to kill her

the final u.s. airways flight comes to an end in half-hour. flight 1939 took off from philadelphia destined to charlotte, south carolina. it went on to phoenix and san francisco. it was the last u.s. airways flight to take off from phl. the same flight will land here before 6:00 a.m. and then it will no longer exist and become american airline. many didn't know they were on the final trip, but others booked a trip just to be part of it. >> he is so passionate about airplanes, this is a great way to help him fulfill that passion. >> all future flights will fly under the american airlines banner. halloween arrived in levittown bucks county.

trick or treaters didn't go house to house, but rather trunk to trunk. >> reporter: welcome to trunk or treat night. ♪ and actually it was a smash. in the sealed off parking lot of truman high school kids from emerson, lincoln and barton elementary dressed up in their halloween costumes and went trick or treating. instead instead of door to door, they were going car to car. parents and grandparents decorated their vehicles in ghoulish fashion to give the kids a little bit of "fright night." >> we got the pick up truck fixed and stuff. >> you mean like a haunted house in the back tailgate. >> yes. >> reporter: the result was the right back a big community gathering. >> it seemed like a great idea. >> it was our pta who came up with the idea as an alter nate
