person did not make it out of the home. flames broke out in the home around 11:30. first responders arrived to find a woman screaming on the front porch. collingdale police came rushing to help. several officers tried to get inside and forced back by intense flames. firefighters arrived and worked to extinguish the blaze. >> we called a second alarm, saturday during the secondary search of the second story a male body was found inside the million dollars bedroom deceased. >> authorities say the man set the fire himself, but died in the blaze. the companion made it out safely. there's a historical of domestic related calls to the home. there are no charges at this time the investigation continues. a single home in pleasantville went up in flames. firefighters were called out

around 11:00. there they found a well involved fire they home. crews battled the blaze and brought in firefighters from neighboring departments to assist. they worked an hour to bring it under control. there are reports of injuries and "action news" is working to determine the severity. new jersey state police are investigating a deadly pedestrian accidents on the atlantic city expressway. it happened before midnight in the westbound lanes in winslow township. police are not providing many details, but they say the victim died at the scene. police in gloucster county say a woman was drinking and drive with her three children in the suv when she caused this wreck that injured an officer. chopper 6 hd was over the scene in franklin township. police say she was under the influence of alcohol when she ran a stop sign and smashed into a police cruiser. it happened at route 40 and tuckahoe road.

feaster and one of her children were injured. she also faces charges for child endangerment and dwi. chief of police identified the suspects in a violent home invasion that happened blocks from a temple university hospital that has seen recent violence. jeff chirico has the story. >> we'll append the individuals because we know their names. >> reporter: police say they know who they are looking for in the violent home invasion. four men forced their way in arena pistol whipped the 26-year-old victim. >> they robbed him of his wallet, watch, jewelry and cell phone. >> reporter: they fled on foot they coming and going likely recorded on a series of surveillance cameras inside and outside the apartment building.

the victim could give detectives critical information. >> the victim recognized two of them. so we have names. >> reporter: the victim's roommate was in the shower and unaware that anything happened. the victim had to be taken to temple university hospital to be treated for the cut to the eye. jeff chirico channel 6 "action news." >> a lehigh valley woman who admitted her role in a murder for murder-for-higher plot has learned her fate. a judge sentenced her ten years in prison. prosecutors say she tried to higher a hit man to kill her daughter's ex-girlfriend. she was arrested after meeting with an undercover detective posing as a hit man. she pleaded to attempted murder and conspiracy. u.s. airways is no more.

begun foreclosuressing proceedings against -- foreclosures proceedings against acr energy. under an emergency order the company is providing enough electricity to power fire safety systems, but the bank said straub has fallen behind on payments. pennsylvania attorney general kathleen kane is said to have her law license suspended next week. the temporary suspension starts thursday, it is not clear how long it will last. legal experts say it's not clear what role she'll play or which official acts she'll perform. she also faces charges of purjury for allegedly leaking grand jury material and lying built. bucks county is putting a new twist on halloween.

the woman was with two co-workers on her way home when the rain started pouring. >> we were bouncing off other cars, i was not sure whether we were going to make it out of there. looked like there were cars float over the wall, it was really horrible. >> once the rain finally came to a stop, the woman crowd through the windows on top of the dry mud. she said she is glad no one was seriously hurt and people were helping one another as they walked for hours down the highway. it's incredible to think it was a sea of mud and it dried and people could walk on it. >> reporter: that's why i like south jersey, it's flat. no mudslides. there's the view in cape may. lovely cape may. it's chilly on the beach. you have crystal clear skies, it's a beautiful morning around the delaware valley.
