the burlington -- tonight the burlington bristol will shut down. happening today family and friends will say goodbye to a little boy who died in new jersey. brandon creato died a week ago, but what happened is still a mystery. katherine scott is live at the camden county prosecutor's office. >> reporter: the detectives here continue to investigate the case trying to figure out what happened to brandon creato what led up to his death at # years old. -- three years old. the hadnship community is still reeling from the little boy's death. >> there are no answers, the whole town wants answers.
>> reporter: back on october 13, the little boy's father called 911 around 6:00 a.m. saying his son wandered off from the apartment overnight. he shared custody with brandon's mother. three hours later he was found in a wooded area in cooper river park a half mile from his father's home. his attorney said he is not a suspect and has fully cooperated. >> he wants 0 to be as helpful as he could and answered all the questions. >> reporter: a viewing will be held today from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. this evening, and his funeral is set for tomorrow. >> new this morning, a driver involved that crash in northeast philadelphia is recovering in the hospital. this happened at 1:30 a.m. in the northbound lanes of the boulevard at southampton road. a minivan and a car collided.
both vehicles were banged up. police have a murder mystery on their hands in the tacony section of the city. an unidentified man was found shot to death along walker street. there shall no motives or suspects in the homicide. a man from the pittsburgh area is charged with several crimes after a night of drinking. kenny callahan got so drunk he went into the wrong house and climbed into bed with the girls and touched them inappropriately. the girls were 12 careers old and ran out of the house. callahan was so drunk he couldn't answer simple questions. following a developing story, a police officer from albuquerque, new mexico is alive but fighting for his life after being shot multiple times in the line of duty.
i began during an altercation at a traffic stop overnight. police took a person into custody overnight. also in new mexico we have information about the man arrested in connection with the deadly road rage shooting that killed a 4-year-old girl. 31-year-old tony torres confessed to killing lilly garcia. the man fired into the family vehicle. lilly was riding in the back seat with her 7-year-old brother. an anonymous caller gave police the information that led to torres. gun control is a debate in this company, but one argues that women should be armed and prepared. the action cam caught up with
the local charmt of -- chapter a girl on the gun. their mission to teach them firearm safety. >> you have to be ready because somebody will grab that gun from you if you're not prepared. >> i don't think i could ever shoot one, i don't know what i would do if i was being threatened. >> safety is number one reason women are arming themselves, but they are using guns for recreation. one in five gun sales are too a women approving they are not just for men. >> today is almost as nice as yesterday. >> reporter: almost better. we're adding a degree to the temperature. those who like fall will say that's worst. the tennis court is vacant.
