horizon. we have clouds down south and much of the rest of the region is pretty bright. 50 in trenton and 59 in sea isle city. winds are not that strong, but we bumped up to 12 miles per hour in philadelphia at this hour, a little bit on the cool and breezy side. as you head out to start the car or catch the bus, 350 degrees in philly. it stays cooler as we move through the afternoon. 52 by 9:00. noon, 55. high of 60 around 7:30 -- around 7:30 -- around 3:30 or 4:00 p.m. and 55 degrees by 6:00 p.m. we'll have the trick or treating forecast or the temple forecast all that good stuff. going to a dinner or movie tonight, karen?
>> reporter: no, but that would be nice. let's check outside on the schuylkill expressway check out the situation at university avenue. you know what, we have traffic moving fine. the schuylkill expressway yesterday they were cleaning the drains all morning long and blocking lanes. today nothing unusual going on. looking good on the schuylkill expressway. all lanes back open on the vine street expressway, westbound and eastbound, it was closed overnight for construction. no problem, construction is cleared and traffic is moving nicely. on the big picture, mostly speeds in the 50s. market street is closed between 5th and 6th. stick to arch or chestnut. espn college game day we're looking forward to that, watch for those restrictions out there. one more issue construction blocking the left lane, turnpike eastbound between morgantown and downingtown, matt and tam. >> police in pleasantville, new
jersey are looking for a gunman who opened fire near a youth football field injuring a person. shots rang out before 7:30. kids were on the field practicing at the time. the bullets hit the bleachers, fortunately none of the youngsters were hit. >> quiet residential neighborhood shots fired in the area are not that common. multiple multiple people heard the shots and called into the police department. >> not long after the shooting, a man went to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the shoulder. police are searching for the shooter. >> four officers are recovering this morning from an after school brawl that broke out in allentown. cameras were rolling when the melee started blocks from allentown high school yesterday. a female officer was dragged to the ground and hit by one of the students. police took three minors into custody. all four officers were treated
and released from the hospital. police are working to find out what led up to the fight. new fire damages three tow trucks. fire broke out before 3:30 a.m. in the overbrook section of philadelphia. the trucks were parked in the back of the auto body shop. two tow trucks were fully engulfed in flames. when fire crews arrived on the scene, a third truck was damaged by flames but it was mostly are the in the interior. an investigation is underway how two homes under construction went up in flames in manayunk overnight. the fast-moving fire broke out at 2:00 a.m. fire crews saw heavy fire coming from the roof when they arrived at the scene. crews got the fire under control
in minutes. american airline flights 754 took off from lax yesterday, an hour later authorities had to take a man into custody after passengers helped to subdue him. he made alarming statements and was taken in for psychologic valuation. the plane continue i -- continued to philadelphia. >> police were called to the taco bell on the 1900 block of lancaster avenue yesterday morning and found the woman's body in the men's bathroom. the death is being investigated as a possible overdose. people had to flee their homes during the night on the 200 block of south 13th street. police picked up p. daway.

he went to the restaurant for a bite and he said he was asked to prepay for food and drinks, but white customers were not. he said the waitress was being forced into the action by the owner. he filed a 100,000-dollar lawsuit saying he is racially stigmatized. the company said it does not have a policy for the guests to prepay and asked the franchisee to nod do that. >> the sixers have their home opener tonight. flyers lost to new jersey who tied it up in the third and went on to win. number 21 temple hosts
