wind today it kicks in tomorrow. i'll have the weekend call coming up. >> reporter: we're watching this tractor-trailer struck out here blocking the right lane schuylkill expressway at passyunk it's not causing a delay, you see a little extra volume. hearing a disabled car on the ramp from 26th street to the schuylkill expressway westbound looking for that as well. as we look at the big picture, overall speeds are not to a bad, looking at the 40s and 50s for the most part. i-95 southbound at girard. we have an accident involving a motorcyclal kelly drive outbound blocking it, as well. traffic is moving better right now. let's check the vine, moving westbound and eastbound closed for construction, the crews are back tonight at 11:00. watch for that closures for the vine matt and tam. >> we're starting with developing news, philadelphia
police are searching for a driver who took off on foot after crashing the car in east oak lane overnight. the action cam was on the scene of west walnut park drive at 2:15. the driver lost control and hit a parked car and flipped over, the driver got out of the car and fled the scene. a man was shot outside a dollar store in delaware county. police believe two thugs were trying to rob him. katherine scott is live where it happened in sharon hill. >> reporter: the victim is expected to survive, the suspects took off. police believe that they were attempting to rob the victim in the parking lot at chester pike plaza in front of family dollar. police say the victim was sitting in the car on the 1400 block of chester pike in sharon hill around 6:45 when he was approached by two suspects in an parent robbery attempt.
a struggle ensued there was gunfire, the victim was struck in the right side. he was driven to taylor hospital in the same car he was wounded in and transported to crozer-chester medical center. he is expected to survive. the two suspects took off, police believe they left empty handed. there was an report that one was apprehended in alden, but that proved not to be the case. if you have any tips or the whereabouts of these two men, police want to hear from you. katherine scott channel 6 "action news." >> thank you for that. and chopper 6 was above this crash between an ambulance and car that injured two people. it happened at 51st and spruce streets in west philadelphia last night. the car was crushed in the collision. two people were rushed to penn presbyterian hospital. one in critical, but stable condition. there is no word if the ambulance was responding to an emergency at the time of the accident. a man notorious for outrage
outs theft has been accused of stealing a grayhound bus that went from philadelphia to new york. it turned up at the bus terminal at nyc. police tracked the bus to a street in brooklyn and found mccullum behind the wheel. he was two dozens transit related arrests and spent 18 careers in prison for his uncontrollable compulsion to steal and operate trains and buses. there's extra security at our -- ursinus college. armed men robbed students in their rooms. >> it is shocking it was quick. i didn't realize it happened

and 295. matt and tam. >> thank you, karen. we continue to follow developing news, fire crews battled a two-alarm fire in delaware. the fire broke out after 3:00 a.m. we're told several recycling bundles were engulfed in flames at the gold medal recycling buildings. workers in two buildings did have to be forced out, nobody was hurt. what sparked the blaze is currently under investigation. a trip to a dollar store was no bargain for one delaware county man. at least two men opened fire on him in a robbery attempt. let's go over to katherine scott live on the 1400 block of chester pike in sharon hill with the latest on the police chase. >> reporter: police are searching for two systems they

teacher's mysterious fall last week. question emerged whether she stumbled or bumped or shoved at the end of a pep rally. in a facebook post a woman claiming to be the victim's daughter i'm quoting here, several students instead of listening and calming down pushed a female teacher down bleachers punching and hitting her. allentown police say they are not aware of a student being suspended. lansdale police say the victim's wife michelle ever et stabbed her husband in the hour show shower and stabbed him when he tried to run. police arrived to find three young children in the upstairs bedroom and the wife hiding in
the basement. she is charged with attempted murder. >> the driver of a reportedly stolen car dragged a philadelphia police officer down the street while trying to getaway. police say it started last night when two officers spotted a white audi. the car was reported stolen four days earlier. when they went to question the 34 suspect he drove off dragging one officer down the street. >> he sunday on jackson he started going this way anne started zooming. >> reporter: he collided with a black suv and jumped the curb and he took off running, but officers caught up with him. the injured officer is in stable condition. >> a new man will take over the philadelphia police department after the new year. >> this is more about passing the baton. this is things that we've done successfully we've had a success with it's not about reinventing
