four millville. these numbers are very similar to what we hit you with yesterday morning at this time. 33 by 6 o'clock. 35 by 8 o'clock. mainly clear. not a lot of wind but cold as you head out to the car the bus or the train station. we're going to get a little bit better this afternoon. lots of sun by noon 49 degrees. by 3 o'clock 53. that is going to be your high today so a few degrees better than yesterday and with light winds and lots of sun it's going to be pretty comfortable and seasonable for this time of year. we're going get even milder tomorrow and friday karen. i'll have details coming up in that accuweather 7-day. >> all right, day. let's hit the roads and show you what it looks like right now on the vine street expressway we're seeing westbound and eastbound traffic move the construction that closed it overnight has cleared and the crews don't return until monday night so giving you a little bit of a holiday break to deal with that one right now. let's switch our cameras and look outside live in west conshohocken. this is the blue route over the schuylkill. northbound traffic headed towards norristown no problems this morning on the blue route between villanova and plymouth meeting. you're looking good. no weather related problems right here either. the one issue we have is a
pretty big one and it's in gloucester county new jersey right in harrison township. an accident with an overturned tractor-trailer and it's blocking a big ramp, the ramp from 55 northbound to 322. so, if you're coming up let's say from clayton you want to hit 322, go to rowan university near that area, you can't do that. so what you need to do is you can take the off-ramp to ellis mill or glassboro road instead. 322 a busy roadway and you can't take that right now from 55. let's go he to hamilton township in mercer county. 295 both ways we've got construction blocking the left lane and that's until 6 o'clock right near i-195, tam. >> thank you karen. we have brand new developments from a police-involved shooting in south jersey. overnight we learned that the suspect shot by camden police officers has died. authorities say officers were responding to a domestic violence call on the 3200 block of rutledge when they encountered a plan who was that armed. a shootout then happened between police and the suspect who was lit and taken to the hospital. that's where he died. the officers involved were
placed on administrative leave pending the investigation. and now turning to the latest on that chase and shootout between police and a teenager in center city. that teen could be arraigned today and that state trooper is still recovering. let's go over to "action news" reporter katherine scott. she is live at hahnemann hospital much that's where the trooper is and she's got the very latest details. googood morning, katherine. >> reporter: good morning, tam. trooper casey spent the night at the hospital last night after being shot in the shoulder. we are told he was in good spirits last night. he was joking around with his family and his friends. meanwhile a 17-year-old is facing attempted murder charges. he's going to be charged as an adult and he is awaiting his arraignment. 17-year-old giovanni cotto was being led by police from state police barracks into southwest detectives last night. he's accused of fleeing a traffic stop on 76 ramming a police cruiser then shooting 31-year-old state trooper patrick casey on 676 in center
city. investigators say most of the incident was captured on trooper casey's dashcam. police say the bullet holes in the windshield are from casey returning fire. >> he responded immediately to the gunfire that he was taking. he was very heroic. he put himself in harm's way for the protection of others. you can't ask him to have done a better job than he did. >> reporter: cotto was in the car with three other people when they were stopped for an expired registration sticker. when police first stopped the car they asked all four to get out but police say cotto jumped back in and took off. the suspected gunman's father told "action news" reporter dann cuellar that his son made a wrong decision to get caught up in this with his friends. >> no matter what happen i got to be there for my son. >> what do you think he was doing? >> i don't know. i don't know. i don't know. >> how do you feel about what happened? >> i don't know. i can't deal with what happened. >> the state troop are was shot. >> i don't know happened. >> reporter: now, i did mention that initially there

drive this holiday. they're at their lowest since 2008. in the philadelphia five county area average price $2.31. gas tax is lowest in south jersey and you're playing $1.90 on average. in delaware $2.07. now last year at this time, at least in the philadelphia area, the average price was nearly sorry for making a sea instead of a two, nearly $2.95. we're saving more than 60 cents on gas this holiday season. moving on the action cam has you covered on the rails and in the skies. on the left is a live picture from philadelphia international airport. at this point of the morning there are no delays in any airports countrywide. on the right the action cam is live inside 30th street station. yesterday, today and sunday are amtrak's busiest days of the year. they expect to move more than 770,000 people over the holiday. station in washington, d.c. begin at 7:00 a.m. right after "action news." >> it is almost 5:07 and new this morning, a monroe county school bus driver has been charged with driving under the influence with seven middle school students aboard. the incident happened in hamilton township. a student on the bus texted her father telling him that her bus driver vanessa bailis was scaring her and driving badly. she pulled the bus over and the children were able to get off safely. her blood tested positive for oxycodone and a powerful antianxiety drug. the stroudsburg school board says she's no longer employed by the district. >> that clock is ticking down to the 6abc dunkin' donuts thanksgiving day parade tomorrow morning and that means it's time to polish those routines. >> ♪ a record 34 performances will pack the parkway for this year's parade now in its 96's year and behind the scenes 6abc truck crews are getting

ways it will abmorning and full day for the sunglasses. 51 degrees is your high up in the lehigh valley, mostly sunny and chilly out there. not much wind though many down the shore we're going for a high of 53, mostly sunny and on the chilly side there as well. and in philadelphia, we are going for a high of 53 this afternoon. little bit better than yesterday. mostly sunny. still chilly but with winds so light in the single digits most of the way it is going to be fairly comfortable. 35 degrees by 8 o'clock. still cold there. but by 11:00 we're up to 46 and if you have some afternoon optional activities like shopping or something of that nature the afternoon is going to be pretty decent. 52 degrees by 2 o'clock and your high 53 we'll lit at about 3 o'clock. no big issues on any of our major highways heading out of town today. looks like it will be sunny and dry heading up to boston richmond and out the pennsylvania turnpike to pittsburgh so if you have plans to travel later on, no issues weather-wise and as we take a look at the airport and some of our major hubs where you might be catching a
connecting flight, sunshine alall the way in atlanta chicago charlotte and boston. good news there. tomorrow thanksgiving looking pretty good. a high of 63 degrees. some low clouds early in the morning so the parade could start out a little gray but we're expecting a transition to partly sunny skies. for the parade itself chilly to begin. by 8 o'clock we'll be at about 44 degrees but by 10 o'clock up to 51 and by noon closer to 60, light winds and winding up partly sunny. not a bad day to go out and enjoy that 6abc dunkin' donuts parade. 53 degrees a bit milder today. not bad overall and then tomorrow really great weather for the parade. i mean it might start out a little bit cloudy but boy have we had years when it's colder and windy down there and precipitation we don't have to worry about any of that tomorrow and the afternoon high on thanksgiving is 63. nice and mild on friday. a few more clouds gathering as the day goes on but a high of 68. there's the chance of some rain but probably not until nighttime so most of the day looks good and then a damp start is possible in some neighborhoods on saturday morning with some light rain showers and maybe some drizzle but we are expecting some sun

looking pretty good this morning, route one at pennsylvania avenue. hardly any cars out there. no precipitation either. so, no problems just yet. let's take tout maps so the one issue we have is in gloucester county new jersey and it's a big one. involving an accident with an overturned tractor-trailer that's blocking the ramp from 55 northbound so you can't get from 55 northbound to 322 and 322 kind of the main artery in that area in gloucester county so what you need to do is use the ramp to ellis mill road or glassboro road but not the ramp to 322. one more issue in camden county. lots of construction crews out there in the usual spots. on route 38, route 42 southbound and on 295 between 42 and 168, busy areas and they're out there working and they'll be out there until 6 o'clock this morning. let's go to your commuter traffic report if you're commuting in from cinnaminson, new jersey, coming into the city this morning your best bet is to take the betsy ross bridge and i-95, only an 18 minute ride. if you were to take the ben franklin bridge it would be also an 18 minute ride so that's not too bad. let's look at the temperatures
right now for you. it's cold out there. there's a little bit of frost as well. i noticed on the windshields coming in. temperatures below freezing in most spots. again only 25 in quakertown and oxford and chester, 26 in saint davids. 40 in center city. we're a little better off there but just 24 in hammonton, 30 in glassboro, 29 in dover delaware. a cold start, matt. >> indeed. thank you karen. new from the overnight the man who housed a suspected ringleader of the paris attacks has been charged with terrorism related offenses. police are also releasing more details about another foiled attack in paris. authorities have learned that the suspected ringleader abdel abaaoud and a second man were planning a suicide attack on paris' financial center. abaaoud was killed in raids after the deadly attacks. also authorities in belgium say they are still seeking 10 militants in brussells which remains on lockdown. >> police in minnesota are looking for additional suspects in connection with the shooting of five people
taking part in a black lives matter protest. police arrested three suspects after they turned themselves in to authorities yesterday. investigators believe they may be among a group of men who opened fire on a rally outside of a minneapolis precinct. the rally stemmed from the fatal police shooting of 23-year-old jamar clark earlier this month. none of the protesters shot were seriously injured. we could learn more today about a stabbing at a baltimore school. it left a student critically injured. police say one student stabbed another student multiple times in the middle of class at the renaissance academy high school. the suspect fled after the incident but was eventually taken into custody. police are investigating how this suspect got the knife into the school in the first place since students have to get through metal detectors every day. take a look at this one its new here on "action news." if you suffer from arrac arna
