we have fog around this morning. every now and then as you drive around this morning this may develop. you want to be careful. slow it down if you hit it. 38 in allentown and reading. cooler in the north and western areas. 39 in wilmington. winds are light, which is good. as we head into the afternoon, it's going to be nice, 8:00, 43. noon, 60. the high today will be 65-degree reading around 3:00 p.m. if we hit that we'll tie the record high for this date. matt pellman looks like we'll set a couple of new records over the weekend. i'll have the latest numbers from accuweather and the next chance of rain coming up in the seven day. >> reporter: we don't like record setting travel times we're not there in any case in any spot just yet. we have issues that are going to increase the travel times like on 42 we have a new accident in the northbound left lane kind of behind the overpass knocking out the left lane because of the
crash by 295. already that travel time is on the rise on 42 northbound only a couple of extra minutes at this point, but it slows from 3534 at this point to 295. we're getting word of a vehicle fire in wilmington, matt and tam we'll have more on this in just a second, 25th and market is the intersection you want to avoid, it's going to be blocked for a while. washington street a number of other streets would be better bets this morning. vine street expressway looking good, the overnight construction long gone, traffic is moving okay. this is the schuylkill expressway by the blue route. eastbound come the headlights by the conshohocken curve. no problems if you're coming eastbound from king of prussia gulph mills or conshohocken. in whitpain we have a broken down vehicle to avoid at kip pack pike walton road. pennsberg watch out for a crash along john fries highway.
emergency crews on the scene. turnpike eastbound approaching valley forge right lane out of commission there. >> a man was critically burned in a car fire in wilmington, delaware. it happened on the 2500 block of north market street about an hour ago. witnesses say they watched as the vehicle already in flames smashed into a building. >> we heard a boom, we turned our heads, the car was in flames then, he jumped out the car he was on fire, he laid down on the ground he was rolling on the ground. >> the driver was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. witnesses say he went running down the street and rolled on the ground to put out the flames on himself. no word on what caused the driver to crash or why the car caught fire. developing news, police are questioning one person about a shooting in the city's west kensington section that sent three people to the hospital. annie mccormick is live outside east detectives with more on this.
annie. >> reporter: matt, i want to give you an update on the victims, the three victims shot taken to temple hospital. one released, the other are in stage condition. take a look at the video this is the scene around 11:30 last night. shots rang out near a car at the scene in west kensington. police believe 15 shots were fired from two guns, officers scooped the two victims and rushed them to temple hospital. a 20-year-old male was shot in the back and 20-year-old female shot in the leg, 26-year-old male was shot twice in the leg. he is expected to undergo surgery. >> the crime scene there's a bike, we don't know which victim was on the bike, however the bike was close to where the 36-year-old which who is in cril condition was laying. there's a large amount of blood on the street. >> reporter: two of the suspected shooters were wearing
masks an did take off in a vehicle. a vehicle was pulled over a short ways away from where the crime scene was, a female in the vehicle is being questioned by police. annie mccormick channel 6 "action news." >> thank four that. investigators believe someone intentionally set fire to to a house in washington township new jersey. 6 people were in the home at the time. the grandmother ran out of the house with the grandchildren screaming for help. one person was taken into custody. police say the fire may have been the result of a domestic dispute. >> new this morning, faculty at temple university voted to condemn ex-trustee bill could cy due to his mounting sexual assault claims. cosby stepped down last year. he has not been charged with a

"action news" reporter, annie mccormick is live outside of east detectives in hunting park. she has the latest on what we know, good morning annie. , good morning, tam, according to police one of the three people taken to the hospital has been released. the other two are in stable condition. no arrests have been made. this all happened around 11:30 p.m. where shots rang out near a car at the scene of north swanson in west kensington.
it is believe three people were shot by the two guns. officers scooped them and took them to the hospital. a 36-year-old male is expected to undergo surgery. they did catch up with the vehicle they are investigating. >> the operator, a female of the vehicle was acting suspicious. we're holding that vehicle as part of scene and detectives are questioning the female who was seen driving from the scene of the terrorismle shooting. -- of this triple shooting. >> reporter: police believe the two shooters involved in the triple shooting were wearing masks. if you have any information contact east detectives. they are working to see if any surveillance cameras in the area caught anything. annie mccormick channel 6 "action news." >> thank you for that. new this morning, shooting in in the city's somerdale section sent two people to the hospital.
gunfire erupted in the alley along palmetto street around 11:30. someone shot a 19-year-old male in the back. police responded to another shooting victim nearby, the action cam was there as the medics treated the man. he was found with a leg wound but said he was shot in the first scene on palmetto. both are expected to survive. no arrests have been made. a teacher's aid in the lehigh valley has pleaded guilty to having sex with a student. adam be dna -- bednaric is the great nephew of chuck bednaric. divers are searching for evidence near the small lake of san bernadino massacre. police learned that syed rizwan

winds, a little bit on the cool side. temperatures in philadelphia crept up to 45 degrees, some of the outlying suburbs are in the upper 30s. 42 is the dewpoint. that close match between the temperature and the dewpoint suggests saturated air. we have patchy dense fog developing kind of going in and out of the picture across the region. that's something you might see in some spots this morning. winds are calm and helps keep the fog in place a little bit. there is clearing of the clouds out west once we burn off the low lying clouds and fog we'll transition to sun and clouds. it will be mild today, 43 degrees by 8:00. cool then, all the way up to 55 by 11:00. 2:00 p.m., 63. a high of 65 degrees, if we hit that we'll tie the record high for this date in philadelphia. we expect to hit that around 3:30. we could be holding on to the 60s a nice afternoon ahead.
