story. good morning, annie. >> reporter: good morning, tam, the detectives here at the accident investigation division are handing the case. they are described it as a violent crash. two officers were injured and he tried to get away, take a look at the video, at the intersection of b street and east west moreland in kensington. that's where the police car collided. police were responding to a call with the license and sirens activated when the suspect ran a red light. he fought with officers and subdued. medics rushed to the aid of the officers who were in the crashed vehicle. two officers who were operating the unmarked vehicle assigned to the 24th district, the driver had some head injuries, he is conscience --
