5 miles per hour. so, not much wind to worry about. 44 degrees on the way out the door, though, is cool in the city. 44 in trenton as well, only 41 in wilmington. notice how some spots like millville reading and lancaster have dipped into the mid to upper 30's at this early hour so it is coat weather early this morning. in terms of sky cover it does look like we're mainly clear early on today and then as we go into the afternoon the clouds begin to filter in a little bit more. by 3 o'clock, it looks like we're still dry. after we get past about four or 5 o'clock, though, up to 6 o'clock, this is what we're looking at right now, you can see that there's the chance of a couple of light spotty showers popping through and the model has been pretty consistent with putting these from about philadelphia north. so, if you're in south jersey and delaware, you probably don't have to worry about that. later tonight, 9, 10 o'clock there could be a little bit more of this streaking through. again some light spotty shower activity anywhere between the times of about 4 o'clock and 9 o'clock tonight and then it is done. other bigger story of the day is the temperature profile and it's looking good. we're going to spend the afternoon in the 60's after a

cool start. 61 by noon and by 3 o'clock, that's your high, 67 degrees so today will be the mildest day of the seven-day forecast. by 5 o'clock, still looking good at 65. and again a spotty shower possible in about the northern half of the region late today and this evening. looks like it's going to be fairly mild just about everywhere even up in allentown we're headed for 64. 65 in reading and trenton, 68 in wilmington. down the shore a little bit cooler, closer to 60's for high this afternoon. and then tomorrow we're still beneath a warm front. still in the warm sector so it looks like partly sunny to partly cloudy skies on thursday with a high of 65 degrees. there is the chance of a spotty shower in the afternoon but generally speaking not too bad. and later in the forecast, though, friday and then especially the weekends cooler air is going to march in and some precipitation on sunday night could be a tad interesting in some northern suburbs. your exclusive accuweather 7-day forecast, today sun to clouds, 67 degrees is your high, a couple of spotty showers but not much rain out there. tomorrow partly to mostly cloudy skies, 65 degrees.
6:41 am
and then in the afternoon another spotty shower but overall it looks like a pretty pretty good saint patrick's day temperature-wise and not much rain out there. and then cooler on friday with a front triggering a few more showers here or there dropping the temperature down to 56 and for the weekend sunshine on saturday but a high of just 50 and more clouds on sunday with a high of 50. now, some models have a coastal storm close enough to us on sunday where we get some rain. if you're up in the poconos maybe even the northern and western suburbs places like the lehigh valley you might even see some mixing of wet snow sunday night into perhaps monday morning. i don't think that's necessarily going to be a big ticket issue with those mild afternoon highs, but that's something to keep our mind -- our eyes on. one model has the storm so far off the coast it kind of misses us, yeah. >> thank you david. up next more stories you didn't see last night. an american college student hears his really harsh sentence that he has to serve for too long a banner in north korea. >> a capitol headache. worker in washington, d.c. who normally use mass transit brace for a nightmarish
