a fire caused serious damage to a home in brewerytown section of it blaze broke out on north 30th street. firefighters got there to find heavy flames on the second floor. an "action news" viewer shot the intense flames. investigators are trying to figure out what kicked off the fire. flags in indiana are flying

at half staff after a deputy was shot serving a warrant. it happened at a trailer park north of indianapolis. the deputies returned fire killing the suspect. those bagpipes were part of a vigil for slain police officer jacai colson who was killed out at a shootout. he was shot by a fell police officer who did not recognize him and viewed him as a threat. he will be buried here next monday. a multi-vehicle crash snarled traffic on a busy highway as the snow comes down overnight. a bitter sweet sunday for a college basketball fan, one team
