but there's extra work on 422 in the westbound lanes by 23, left lane still out of the commission, but they should be clearing out soon on this thursday this morning. developing right now, several people were hurt in a spate of violence that began yesterday anding and -- yesterday evening and lasted into the wee hours of the morning. katherine scott is live with the details. good morning, katherine. >> reporter: good morning, tam, there was four separate shootings and one stabbing in philadelphia since yesterday afternoon. three incidents happened overnight and this morning police continue to investigate. homicide detectives were on the scene in kensington overnight. a man was shot multiple times in his chest and torso and died at the hospital. it happened at 1:45 a.m. on north front street near indiana. the suspect was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and fled on
foot. 1 shots were fired. in juniata park police had a different case on their hands. they were investigating after a woman was stabbed multiple times on 4700 block of whitiker avenue at 1:30. she was taken to the hospital in critical condition. police know who they are looking for. just before 1:00 a.m. in germantown, a man was shot four times at chew and locust. officers rushed him to the hospital in critical condition with gunshot wounds to his chest stomach and back. police were looking for a four door blue hyundai that fled south on chew without its headlights on. the shell casings were ten to 15 feet where the victim was laying, which is an indication the shooter fired from close proximity. >> reporter: police are reviewing surveillance footage, and they did find some footage that will help in the investigations.
katherine scott channel 6 "action news." philadelphia police are investigating a double murder in the city's frankford section. police say two 30-year-old men were found shot multiple times at a home on 1600 block of pratt street. they were rushed to temple university hospital where they died. a number of gunnels were at the scene, but it's not clear if they were related to the killings. nobody has been arrested. 5:05, the manhunt intensified this morning for the fugitive terrorists in brussels. european justice ministers will hold a meeting in brussels today. there's evidence that the same islamic state cell that carried out the attacks in paris and brussels. belgium authorities believe four people were involved in the bombings of the airport and subway that killed 31 people. they have identified three suicide bombers including a suspected bombmaker for the paris attacks in november, the
