john rawlins, channel 6 "action news." >> thank you. we are following developing news out of the city's wissinoming section, chopper 6 hd over the scene of an industrial accident at the newman paper recycling plant on tacony street. a 35-year-old became trapped under a bale of paper injuring his leg. the man was taken to the hospital and he is in stable condition. turning to accuweather now, it's an absolutely gorgeous spring day out there. sunshine and mild temperatures, meteorologist, david murphy, joining us outside for a check of your accuweather forecast. >> lots of sun here on the terrace, still cool enough for a jacket. if you look at satellite, there is cloud cover and most of it off to the north and west of philadelphia. more of that streaks through in the afternoon, as we did at times yesterday, it features an amount of sunshine, you have flow off the ocean that could cloud you up a bit off the
beach. 58 in philadelphia and 66 in millville and 68 in dover and 59 in wilmington when expect the areas highlights in yellow to get warmer into the upper 60s to low 70s. allentown and trenton you'll stop in the low 60s. because cooler air is nudging its way down into the northeast in your area. the current wind profile, look at the direction of the wind coming in from the south off the ocean cooling you down by the water and then continuing out of the south up into philadelphia for the most part. right around the city you see it turn out of the east and then the northeast and that is a cooler direction. again, areas outside of the city north and east cooler this afternoon. in philadelphia though, sunshine is aiding and abetting the rising temperatures and we'll probably jump to 67 at 3:00 and 70 for your high at 4:00. a word to the wise, we are talking about pollen the last
couple of days, today is the worst for pollen in the region, the tree pollen spores are running high today with rain coming in overnight tonight and tomorrow morning. tomorrow looks a lot better for allergy sufferers. when i step inside we'll talk about the holiday weekend too, looking good but cooler sara, but a nice day outside. >> thank you. police in west depford, new jersey, are investigating a disturbing video that show a man violently beating a juvenile. the video was posted on social media and has been viewed more than a million times, in it an adult male believed to be an mma fighter is seen beating a juvenile. people in the public are calling for an immediate arrest but they say give us time. >> give us time and let us do our investigation, at the end we'll sign the charges, but we want to do a thorough
investigation. >> police made contact with both the male and juvenile and talk to the person that took this video. >> investigators are trying to piece together a crash involving two tractor trailers this morning in newark. it happened just before 4:30 this morning. it results in this mangled mess that forced several lanes to shut down for a time. one driver was taken to christiana hospital and is expected to be okay. a woman is in critical condition after being stabbed earlier this morning in the juniata park section. it was 1:30 a.m. on whitaker avenue when police say she was stabbed multiple times, they say they know who did it but the suspect is on the loose. in the city's german town section an investigation is underway for a shooting that left a man in critical condition. someone shot the man four times and drove away.

little bit of milky white and we have high thin cloud cover filtering in from the west and we took the pictures from this morning and it looked bright across the region, still warm today and showers possible tomorrow and mainly in the morning although some could linger into the afternoon. we have a cooler but nice weekend on tap. temperature in philadelphia is 58 degrees, continuing to climb and we'll be up into the 60s before too much longer and low 70s before we are all done later this afternoon. winds east-northeast at 8 miles per hour. currently 57 in allentown un58 in reading and wilmington and 58 in philadelphia, just 55 in trenton, notice how instead of the southerly wind we get a draw from the northeast in places like trenton and allentown and that keeps your temperatures cooler, how about 51 in beach haven, down the shore a flow off the ocean waters cooling you down too. you won't go much higher than this 57 and in philadelphia we
have a chance of going quite a bit higher than the 58. the high cloud cover is starting to filter in and the thicker stuff holds on until later tonight. 72 is your forecast high in philadelphia, we can keep enough sun in play and get the draw out of the south we should hit that, 72 in wilmington and 70 in millville and cooler down at the coast with the flow in off the ocean and cooler in the northern and eastern suburbs, areas outside of philadelphia in buck county for example may not be as mild than down the pike in philadelphia and beyond, as we roll through the afternoon, 72 is your high at 4:00 or 4:30, and 69 by 6:00 and 65 by 8:00 and 62 by 10:00 that is mild for this time of year at 10:00 at night and overnight we'll only drop to 58 for a low, so mild tomorrow morning. future tracker 6 shows you that in the wee hours of the morning, 3:00, 4:00, 5:00 sprinkles are
possible and we get rolling into the rush hour and there is a chance of spotty showers rolling through. it's not going be a lot of rain out of this and a quarter inch in most cases, by the afternoon there is less shower activity. there could be a lingering bit and piece of shower activity. and mild again tomorrow with a high of 70 for the front and as the front goes through temperatures dip a bit and only a quarter inch of rain from the showers, behind the front as we head into the weekend it will get cooler. your exclusive accuweather forecast we go for the high of 72 today and look going across the region, still very warm, a few more clouds digging in perhaps in the afternoon and tomorrow as you saw morning showers and maybe a few more of them around into the afternoon and generally drier in the afternoon than in the evening and a high of 70 with the temperatures sliding a bit as we get into the early to mid-afternoon hours, for the
weekend it will be cooler on saturday and still sunny with a high of 62 and a nice good looking start to the weekend and that 62 is not bad for this time of year. easter sunday looks dry as a bone and partly sunny skies and nice conditions for sunrise services i can see us on or about 40 in philadelphia and cooler in some suburbs and then the afternoon we get up to 65 which isn't bad. on monday that is when the showers reemerge and could be a thunderstorm this the afternoon and not raining all day but a shower with the thunderstorm chance and high of 63 degrees, after that system gets out of here another burst of cool air comes in and we opened get to 56 on tuesday and looks dry on thank you know and up to 60 on wednesday and thursday afternoon we are probably pushing back into the low to mid-60s. >> thank you. microsoft's experience with an artificial intelligent

david with one last look at the numbers, it's only up from here. now up to the north and east of philadelphia, in places like allentown, you probably only stop in the mid-60s and the farther south and west you go, the better chance you have of getting up to 70 or above. from philadelphia south i expect highs close to 70 degrees and trenton not as much and down at the shore you have the ocean flow in the low 60s, fair amount of sunshine and nice today. five cheetah cubs at a north carolina zoo have a new caretaker. their mother died shortly after they were born, now the zoo dog is taking care of the cubs. the australian shepherd gives them a cuddle and a chance to play. they expect the dog to become
