philadelphia. the shooter is on the run. next thing i hear in my living room hearing her say oh, my god a car is in living room. neighbors are in shock after an suv slams into a home in bucks county. the driver ran off. plus, presidential candidates are converging on new york as the state's primary creeps closer. more on the story in a moment, but first the exclusive accuweather seven-day forecast with meteorologist chris sowers. it's cold out there, chris. >> reporter: it's better, but it's very, very chilly for the middle of april. take a look at the numbers across the delaware and lehigh valleys. 40 degrees in philadelphia. in allentown and reading. 41 in millville. and cape may. 39 in trenton and beach haven is up to 45. you factor in the winds it feels mighty chilly out here. 34 with the wind in allentown. feels like 49 in -- 39 this trenton. 37 in wilmington and 38 degrees in millville. feeling like the middle of

updates throughout the day. police in bucks county are searching for the driver who slammed into a house and ran off. we know this all happened after 5:30 a.m. on the 2200 block of monroe avenue in bensalem. that's where we find trish hartman with the latest on the investigation. the homeowner also -- homeowners are so lucky they were not hurt, right? >> reporter: absolutely, nydia. i want to show you how lucky the family is. the car came from behind this property across the street. sailing through the yard hitting the shed and flew across the street landing into the living room of the home. police are searching for the driver. the homeowner told the driver to call 911 before taking off. the car missed hitting her. i'm blessed. >> reporter: barrett davis and his wife are counting their

blessings after an suv crashed through their home on monroe avenue at 5:00 a.m. dolly davis just out of the hospital was sleeping downstairs when the crash happened. heard something that sounded like thunder. i came downstairs there's a car. dolly ran to the neighbor's house for help, barrett was trapped inside. >> reporter: they got him down they had to pull the railing down from the steps to get him down. police say the car went airborne and went through a neighbor's yard damaging the shed before crashing into a house across the street. neighbors say they saw a suspect fleeing the scene. it was going on 5:15. we opened the side window and we see the one guy running over there. now, dolly davis was taken to the hospital for chest pains after the crash. we are told she is in stable

condition. township inspectors will determine if the house is inhabitable. in the meantime the family is being helped by the red cross. trish hartman channel 6 "action news." gray. so glad to hear nobody was hurt. thank you for the update. police are searching for a killer after a man was shot outside a north philadelphia bar. the 26-year-old victim was walking out of the neville bar when one shot him pointblank in the chest on east allegheny avenue. police rushed him to the hospital. he died a short time later. no arrests have been made. developing at noon, philadelphia police are searching for the gunman who targeted two 7-eleven stores overnight. the first robbery happened at 2:00 a.m. on the 79 hunt block of frank -- 7900 block of frank formed avenue in holmesburg section of the city. they demanded money and cigarettes. investigators say it looks like a few mingles later, the same --

a few minutes later, the same men pulled off another robbery at bridge and thompson streets. the cars took off toward i-95. police are looking at surveillance video to try to identify the systems. -- suspects. robbery suspect was shot and killed by an off-duty police officer. viewer video shows the scene moments after the shooting on park avenue in olney. the suspect was robbing an elderly person when the off-duty officer identified himself and toldment suspect to drop the weapon. the suspect opened fire when the officer turned the -- -- open the suspect opened fire on the officer. he said don't move don't

brussels. belgium authorities say mowmed abriniy was the man in the hat and the coat. he threw away the coat and sold the hat. the dna was found in the brestles apartment a bomb factor when he and the other attackers left in the airport. new video shows one of the men calling for a taxi. abriniy has been charged with terror. the same charges is handed down to a 28-year-old swedish national who was at the metro station with the suicide bomber. his family in sweden shocked. all of a sudden he disappeared his aunt said no one in the family knew. and we turn to the race for the

butchered a bald eagle. the body was found left in a plastic bag. the talens were ripped off enthat's not all. this stands out i don't know of a case on record where someone has taken the meat off an eagle before. federal laws protect bald eagles making it a rarity. > in "health check" at noon,

tomorrow afternoon there's an isolated shower around other than next 24 to 36 hours look dry. well, apparently this is spring. 82 degrees a month ago today. now, we're forecasting a high of 50. so some 32 degrees colder that was a new record high by the way. the average high temperature today is 60. on march 10th it was 50. you can see the numbers are going in the opposite direction here. the good news is, i'll show you this in a second, the pattern is starting to change. we'll see warmer temperatures move back into the area. windchills in the 30s, feels like 39 in trenton. 37 in philadelphia. the numbers to the south are starting to warm up quickly now, 69 in memphis, dallas 68. new orleans 75. bills mark, north dakota 37 that's typical for those guys up there. we have a pattern change coming. what we've been seeing over the last week is the polar vortex

has been sitting here we've been seeing the cold air attack the mid atlantic and the northeast. the cold has been driving into the heart of delaware and lehigh valleys. in the meantime, just the opposite has been occurring on west coast where it's been nice and warm on south issuely -- southerly winds. this whole seesaw will tilt the other way. 89 warmth will march east of the mississippi river. all the cold goes back here and this is all warm as we see the southwesterly wind. we have changes heading this way. i know it's been a little brutal over the last week, but things will warm up nicely. there's the warm front as we get into tonight and tomorrow. that punches through, it could bring an isolated shower. the bigger change will be the climb in temperatures. monday, 63 degrees, monday into tuesday, showers possible with that approaching cold front. there's future tracker 6 later this afternoon sunshine along
