on the bus stop we're going for partly cloudy and cool conditions, probably more clouds to the north than to the south. 6:00 a.m., 47 degrees, 8:00 a.m., up to 50 degrees. that's only the beginning. as we roll through the afternoon look for sun and clouds, 73 degrees by 1:00 p.m. by 3:00 p.m. we don't stop there people, we're going for 80 degrees at 4:00 p.m. that's ten degrees better than yesterday. 6:00 p.m., mid 70s a nice warm one today. pollen count high the next couple of days although it will drop off tuesday and tuesday night as we get showers and thunderstorms rolling through. i'll show you that on future tracker 6 and the rest of the week forecast. karen, coming up. >> reporter: this is i-95 approaching cottman, southbound toward center city. light volume and no delays coming done from langhorne or
bensalem. i-95 looking good. kelly drive we have resurfacing work until 6:30. avoid that between hunting park and fairmont avenue. use mlk drive instead while they do the restrictions through much of the morning commute. 422, dark at 23. watch for this, we're looking at the overhead construction which is clear, both lanes open both ways. looking okay on 422. we have the water main break we're dealing with, shipley drive is closed at wilson road. use silver side road instead. this is in northern delaware where crews are working on the water main break. a candidate for the pennsylvania state house witnessed an execution style shooting on the campaign trail. this happened in the disash brook section of -- descrar -- cedarbrook section of philadelphia. annie mccormick has the latest on the investigation. it's an unimagable scene.
good morning. annie. >> reporter: good morning, tam, that's right, the 21-year-old victim was excited about campaigning for the state house candidate. it unfolded in front of the candidate and the campaign volunteer. hours later this was another shooting. somebody tell me who killed my son. >> reporter: a father in agony at the scene of his son's murder. it happened in broad daylight as the 21-year-old victim spoke to state house candidate chris rabb and his staff about working the polls on tuesday and volunteering for his campaign. someone walked you mean and deliberately shot someone with the intense of killing him. the young man was interested in chris' campaign and another man came up and shot him execution style in the head. >> reporter: hours later another shooting a block away. this one killing an 18-year-old and injuring a 17-year-old.
police suspect apparent drive-by shooting with multiple gunman appears to be retall layings for the 21-year-old's murder and possibly gang related. we believe these are two rival factions they are fighting over. we are not going to let us pass this by. rabb running a a campaign, was able to pull a volunteer into a convenience store. the 21-year-old was excited about the political process. it was moments after trading contact information with the victim that he was killed. and back out here live, the investigation is still on going, police say, though, there was possibly surveillance video from the convenience store where the initial murder happened. if you have any information you're under to contact homicide. reporting live outside police
headquarters, annie mccormick channel 6 "action news." officials from montgomery county are investigating a deadly shooting during a church service in north wales. the victim was identified as robert braxton iii of montgomeryville. the person who fired the shot is cooperating with police and not arrested. no charges have been filed and we'll have more on this story and a live report in the next half-hour. presidential hopefuls have one more day to win over voters ahead of the primaries in pennsylvania and delaware. democratic candidate hillary clinton will hold two events today. she'll be in wilmington for a campaign rally this morning and outside city hall this evening. bernie sanders will hold a rally on the campus of drexel university. republican john kasich will stop by the penrose dinner in south philadelphia this morning. frontrunner donald trump will hold a rally at west chester

over philadelphia showing stars right now, especially from the city south, the farther north you go the better chance you have of seeing more high cloud cover this morning. we're off to a cool start, but not too bad, 49 degrees in philadelphia. 48 in wilmington. 48 in trenton, currently and pretty much the same story in allentown and reading. south jersey, cooler, 41 in millville. 47 in dover and 52 in cape may. not much wind out there. satellite shows you how cloud cover has start to streak into the northern suburbs, but it looks like we'll start out bright across the region and eventually we'll see clouds sweeping in. high temperatures will be nice mid south jersey into allentown. lehigh valley 7 of -- 76 degrees. down the shore it will be cooler with the flow coming in off the ocean water, 62 degrees in all
likelihood on the beach. in philadelphia, 80 degrees is the high, mix of sun and clouds, southwest win bringing all the mild air up into place and warming us up over yesterday when we got a high of 70. mostly cloudy skies and spotty shower developing and thundershower overnight into parts of tomorrow as you'll see in a moment. 62 is the overnight low. if we see that it's probably after midnight. tomorrow another warm one with a high of 81 degrees. again with the frontal boundary in the vicinity, we'll be looking at the potential for precipitation. 11:30 we'll be dry in most spots, but we'll be looking in the overnight hours we'll be looking at a spotty shower popping through. this is 4:30 a.m. tomorrow morning we'll be showing you. during the day, 2, 3:00 p.m., thundershowers emerging and thunderstorms in the poconos.

the gunman identified by police as jacob wagner had a high powered rifle and big amunition clip. he showed up and started shooting. a boy and girl were shot as they exited the school. they are expected to be okay. we could learn more about what prompted the shootings. protests for and against the house bill 2 are expected to take place in raleigh, north carolina. members. north carolina naacp who are against the bill plan to hold a large sit-in. the group return america is holding a rally in support of it. four democrats are expected to file the bill in retaliation to the bill. president obama is is expected to announce 250 more special operations troops will

the coast guard
rescued a florida man who was trying to reach bermuda in an inflatable bubble. they call him the bubble man. the guard picked him up on sunday and towed his hydropod to shore. he set out despite receiving a letter from the coast guard warning him about the safety of the trip. he made an attempt in 2014 and had to be rescued back then, too. a state senator in minnesota is pushing to make the official state color purple in honor of the late prince. prince was found dead in his suburban minneapolis home on thursday, he was 57 careers old. beyounce released a new album over the weekend. it's not available on itunes. lemonade was released on the music streaming service tidal.
