montgomeryville was shot in the chest. he was pro-- pronounced dead at the hospital. investigation is on going, we'll have to determine if the shooting was justified under the law. >> reporter: the district attorney wouldn't elaborate and said braxton was not armed. one church member saw several ushers arguing during the shooting. and then one of the ushers shot him. i don't know if he overreacted, but the man wasn't armed. >> reporter: family members say braxton was full of life and laughter, they can't understand how it came to this. you don't go to church to be killed. you don't do that. he was a young man he had his whole life ahead of him. >> reporter: the man who was released from the -- the man who fired his weapon was released from the hospital after being

treated. he is not in custody as authorities try to determine if charges are warranted. katherine scott channel 6 "action news." >>ing -- thank you to that. philadelphia police believe two shootings in philadelphia are connected. a man was shot in the head as he talked to chris rabb. four hours later another shooting killed an 18-year-old and left a 17-year-old injured. police believe the shootings are gang related. new jersey gunfire on a trrnlt -- trenton street injured a teenage girl. it happened at jersey street and home avenue. detectives are keeping a tight lip on more details. bucks county authorities investigate a large party inside a storage units. police found 50 young people with marijuana at the facility in langhorne, saturday night.

officers confiscated marijuana and made several arrests. they executed a search warrant at the storage site. four presidential candidates will be campaigning in the region ahead of the primaries. republican john kasich will be at the penrose dinner this morning. donald trump will hold a rally at west chester university this afternoon. ted cruz is focusing on next week's primary in i i indiana. kasich said it's cleared the way in the hoosier state in an effort to clinch the delegates. cruz is wining and dining and dinners and hotels he is bribing people essentially. i think delegates are smart when it comes to picking someone

philadelphia city hall on this monday morning. time to go to work and school. the school days are dwindling by. a month left. summer on its way. karen how is the commute looking? >> reporter: the commute is looking good so far. i have this shot of morrisville, bucks county. no problems on route 1. we're looking good, light volume between the pennsylvania turnpike and trenton-morrisville bridge. no weather related problems either. we have construction skippack township montgomery county, route 73 closes, the bridge

rehab through december. you'll be dealing with this for a long time. it starts today. the graterford road bridge is open. that's good news in perkiomen township. we have a couple of things we're dealing with, especially new construction that starts today and lasts through december. on the delaware memorial bridge southbound they have an emergency construction blocking a lane. last week they were blocking several lanes. we saw a nightmare of commute there. that's not the case today. it's one lane blocked, just some slowing in the area as you head out a little bit. as we to the commuter traffic report on the waze app. we have a minor accident on the schuylkill expressway westbound near passyunk. we are checking our cameras, but haven't noticed a problem yet. something we're looking into. 49 degrees. mild. 41 in millville. heading up to a warm 80 today, sunshine and clouds, tam. autopsy are expected to be

completed today on 8 family members found murdered in rural ohio. investigates say the killings were methodical, well lands executions. several marijuana growing operations were found at the crime scenes. it's unclear if they had anything to the with the attacks. so far the killer or killers are still out there. they told residents they are safe, but to arm themselves if they are afraid. espn reports a texas grand jury has indicted the quarterback johnny manzell with a misdemeanor assault charge. the dallas county grand jury met on thursday to hear the case. manzell's ex-girlfriend skews accused him of striking her so many times she lost hearing in her ear. the browns cut the former heisman winner last month. a boat and iphone of two

another nice morning to get it in if you wait until 6:00 p.m. temple e temperature of 75 degrees. two people were hurt when a semi ran a red light and crashed into a car and house in chicago. it happened on saturday afternoon. the two people in the car drove themselves to the hospital. they were in good condition. the 24-year-old semi driver was not hurt, but he faces charges of disobeying the traffic signal. federal authorities have new concerns about knockoff hover boards. they seized thousands of fakes during a raid in california. bogus boards are the ones that catch fire and many have a false seal of quality that is fooling a lot of consumers. mark means it's safety tested and certified. has it? no. no hover boards real or be fake
