14,000 block of fara day street in summer section. the intruders slid into a sliding door and bound up the residents with zip ties. nobody was hurt. we'll have more on the investigation in the next half-hour. a man was killed trying to cross the boulevard the inner lanes at c street in the olney section of the city late last night. a driver who had a greenlight struck the 22-year-old man. the impact sent the victim airborne landing 50 feet away in the outer lanes. the driver was 22 stopped at the scene and did not appear to be impaired according to authorities accident investigators are working the case. a newark, delaware man is facing multiple counts of multiple rape. he is accused of raping two
children under the age of 12. he works at a ka5. karate studio often kirkwood highway. the attacks happened at the victims' homes. chopper 6 was overhead as firefighters doused the garage inferno. the flames could be seen for miles. an unknown man on the list of bridgegate asked a judge to block its release arguing it would unfairly brand him a criminal. two of chris christie's allies pleaded not guilty in blocking the lanes of the bridge.

it's 157 commencement today. graduates will gather at the villanova university and temple congrats to all. the dad vail regatta the best known intercollegiate competition against this morning. the first rowers hit the waters in two hours. katherine scott is long the schuylkill. >> reporter: this is an exciting two day event people look forward to watching this. the rowers can't wait to participate. this is a premier rowing event this is something they want to win a gold medal and want to be here every year. the starting area is further up the schuylkill. you can see the lanes it's getting lighter. we're near the officials tent they are gathering this morning, the first races get underway at 7:00 a.m. when you're out and about, kelly drive is closed. kelly will not be back open
until 6:00 p.m. tomorrow evening. this is the nation's largest collegiate regatta with more than 100 colleges and universities from u.s. and canada taking part. the start is north of hunting park avenue the finish line is the the "columbia" avenue bridge. admission is free. you can set up along the banks. by favorite spot is the grandstand. you can see the spectators, the fans, the rowers when they are done the races or before they start. they are there cheering and the first races get started at 7:00 a.m. we spoke to an organizer and they said how excited the kids are. they eat and sleep the gold
